*knock* *knock* *knock* "Remember to be nice Henry." "I know Jane." "Yes?" The married couple stand mouths agape at the young wolf before them. "You're a furry family?" "Not really. Its just me here." "What? That can't be right. You're just a boy." "A boy who is now an emancipated minor." They stare at him again. "Is there a reason you tow came over?" "Well ugh... we uhhhh.... wanted to welcome you to the neighborhood but....." "You didn't know I was a fur. You guys can head back home I know how much people like us." *closes door* "What a rude little bastard."
A week of settling later.
*knocking* *sigh* "Hello?" "Hey there! I wanted to know if you wanted to come over to watch a movie?" "Do I know you?" "I'm in like all your classes." "Jason Kleric?" "So you do remember me!" "Just that I hear your name called a lot." A slight pause ensues. "So do ya?" "Do I what?" "Wanna come over to watch a movie? Me and some friends are having a movie night." "If it's the team then I'll happily decline." "Those guys aren't my friends. They're all a bunch of asses. *slightly upset* They been messing with you?" "No more than anyone else. So I don't expect your friends to like me." "Don't worry they'll be fine. If you wanna come over we start watching movies at 8." "I'll consider. But don't save a seat." "Oh.... kay then." *closing door* 'Was that genuine sadness?' 'Is he really that nice?' 'He didn't seem afraid.' 'No! They'll always be afraid. You're unnatural. And they don't even know everything.'
*Knocking* "Adam go see who that is." *opening door* "Yo- whoa!" "Hey. I came over to watch the movie with Jason and his friends." "Uuuuhhhhh..... yea. Sure. I'm his brother-" "Adam." "Whoa. How'd you know? You one of the ones with powers?" *chuckling* "No just good hearing. Your mom is really loud." Adam looks around. *whispering* "Don't let her hear you say that. She gets louder." Both boys walk in laughing.
