{Reader POV}

"You ready to go?" You asked Armin, who was putting his things away in his locker. He closed his locker, turned to you, and nodded. You both started walking away from the school. You didn't say anything for the first five minutes of you walking. He broke the silence.
"So, what do you even want to do at your house?" He said. You chuckled and said, "I was hoping you would have some ideas." He gave a small laugh and smiled.
"Well, I suppose we could just talk. But, that sounds lame." He said. You walked for a bit longer until you arrived at your front door, which you unlocked. You led him inside and closed the door behind him. Your parents weren't home, although you knew they wouldn't be home until later.
"So, what do you wanna do?" You asked him. "Want a snack?"
"Yeah, I could eat. What do you have?" He replied.
"Umm... apples, brownies, a banana. Anything you want, just grab it." You poured the two of you glasses of lemonade and set them on the counter next to where he was standing.
"Thanks." He reached out for the glass and picked it up. He drank the whole thing down within a few gulps. You figured he was nervous.
"Hey, there's no reason to be nervous. We are friends after all." He just kinda nodded, blushed slightly, and looked down at the floor. 'Gosh, why is he so cute?' You thought. 'Do I like Armin...?' You thought about it for a minute and admitted to yourself that you did. You felt your cheeks blush bright red.
"Hey, umm, let's go sit down." He nodded and followed you to the living room. You then suddenly remembered that at the end of your creative writing class, the teacher assigned an essay for homework. You immediately jumped up and grabbed your backpack.
"Hey [Y/n], what's wrong?"
"Nothing, but we have an essay due tomorrow for creative writing. I just remembered." His faced seemed to drop and he sighed heavily.
"Ugh... I love writing, but not when I have absolutely no ideas for it." He said. You nodded and smiled in agreement.

{Armin's POV}

To be honest, when [Y/n] jumped up like that, she scared me half to death. Then, when she reminded me of the essay, I swear I felt my heart drop about three levels. She immediately pulled out her laptop and opened up a new document. She titled and put her name on the paper and then sat there staring at her screen. I saw her sigh a deep, stressed sigh.
"Hey, while you think of something to write about, can I get more lemonade?" She looked up and nodded.
"It's in the fridge. I'm sure you can find it." She said. I walked over to the kitchen and opened the fridge. I soon heard [Y/n] start humming something. I poured myself more lemonade and walked back over and sat next to her on the sofa.
"What are you humming?"
"Never Forget You." She simply said. I recognized that that was the song she was humming now. I actually really liked that song, and I can see that she seems to, too.
"Oh, I really like that song." I said.
"Me too." She said, still staring at her screen. We sat in silence for about ten minutes, and she still didn't type anything. I had taken out my laptop as well and sat staring at my screen.
"I need to do this in my room. I never do homework downstairs, I can never focus." She suddenly said. She rose and started walking towards the stairs with her laptop in her hands. She turned back to look at me.
"You coming?" She said.
"M-me? In your room? Are you okay with that? Are your parents okay with that?" I said. I must have sounded terrified.
"Yeah Armin, it's fine. Come on." She walked back over to me and grabbed my hand and made me get up and follow her. I felt my face heat up at her touch. 'I really, actually like her... don't I?' I questioned in my head. 'Yeah, I do.' She raced up the stairs ahead of me, and I followed her. We turned and headed into her room. I still felt weird about going in her room, but she's okay with it so it's fine. I guess...

>time skip~ three hours later<

{Reader POV}

You could feel your eyes start to droop, you were getting tired. You had been writing your essay for three hours straight. You and Armin hadn't said anything to each other for a while now, and you decided to break the silence. You moved your laptop so it was sitting next to you on the bed and you yawned and stretched.
"How's the story coming along?" You asked. He perked up and yawned. He set his laptop at his side and looked over at you. You could see the tiredness in his eyes. You felt the tiredness in yours. You then remembered your mom asked you to make dinner. You started to get up off your bed and he asked where you were going.
"My mom asked me to make dinner. She also invited you to eat with us, too. I don't think my dad will be home any time soon, but my mom should be home in around an hour at the latest."
"Oh, well, is it really okay if I stay for dinner?"
"Armin, just accept the offer. Don't be so paranoid all the time." You put your hand on his head and slightly ruffled his hair. He smiled.
"Okay, then I'll stay for dinner. What are you gonna make?"
"Probably Mac and Cheese if we have any. I love Mac and Cheese..." You started to drift off in the middle of your last sentence.
"Me too! It's one of my favorites." You smiled and asked him if he wanted to help make it. He replied with "Sure!" and the two of you headed downstairs.
You went into the kitchen and put water in a pot to boil. You and Armin sat in your living room and talked about random school stuff while you waited for the water to boil. When it was boiling, you put in the pasta and waited some more. You later put in the cheese powder and other ingredients. You let Armin stir it all together and you dished some out for the both of you. You left some for your parents, neither of which were home yet.
You finished eating your food and fetched your laptops from upstairs. You finished up your essays, and by the time you were done, you were both practically asleep. You closed your laptop as he was finishing the last few sentences on his story. You slowly drifted off to sleep, resting your head on his shoulder.

{Armin's POV}

Eventually, [Y/n] fell asleep with her head on my shoulder. I felt tiredness take me over as well, and I also drifted off to sleep, unintentionally cuddling with [Y/n].

[A/n]: Hey everyone! Thanks for reading chapter three! Sorry for the wait... I have something big planned that's going to happen sometime within the next few chapters and so I might have to end up using quite a few time skips to move the story along to a point where I can have the big thing happen. I try not to to use as many time skips as I can help it, but sometimes it's the only thing I can really do to help the story move along faster. Thanks for reading everyone! -Taylor (NuevaCielo)
