RYANS POV

Ashlyn beat me to the elevator. That gave her a good 5 minutes time before me, I knew I could never catch her. I can't believe how she just ran out on me like that. I mean, I know what I did wasn't right but I couldnt help it. I know it was for the best.

I ran into the apartment and got Brendon. I figured two was better than one to try and find Ashlyn. We took the stairs, running as fast as we could down each flight. I would venture to say Brendon was quite winded, but I wasn't. I was running solely on adrenaline and I wasn't stopping until I found Ashlyn and bought her home.

Home. i thought to myself.  I just called mine and brendon's place Ashlyn's home.

Ashlyn, Come Home.

We ran the blocks of our city desperately looking for Ashlyn, calling her name. Theres nothing more that I wanted to see than her beautiful, shiny dark hair and deep blue eyes. I could get lost in them. I swear, I loved them.

I loved them.

We got to the 27th block of the city, only 3 more to go until we were into the next small town. 3 more to the end of my city, my stomping grounds, where I knew. Where I knew I could find her. "Ryan, just relax, shes gone." brendon told me. "Shes not gone. I need to find her." I spit back. Brendon doesn't know Ashlyn like I do. Ashlyn and I both know we have unfinished business with eachother. Her addiction. My actions.

We got to 29th street, almost the end. I was so disappointed. I hoped she didn't get back on the bus or something. Maybe she was kidnapped? I had no clue until I slumped down on a bench and saw a petite figure in oversized guys clothing, passed out beside me.

She was out cold.
