"What?!" She screamed silently
'Why the hell did he noticed me?' she thought. Cassidy didn't move any muscle. She stayed silent while carefully peaking the guy, that is now staring at the bush where she hides.
"I know you're hiding in the bush. Stand up and tell me who you are." He commanded
"Dang! I'm busted." Cassidy muttered in her breath while standing up slowly, still thinking if that was a great idea. But she's already busted by the 'emo' guy and she doesn't know where to hide again.
'I should run then and hide!' A bright idea pop up in her head and she felt the urge to do it
She stood up in her back, doesn't facing the man who's now staring at her.
"Miss, can you please face me? So that I can ask you questions."
'Run!' Her feet were trembling, sending a sign that they were ready to run a hundred miles just to escape that skeptic and scary stranger who sounds like he was going to rip Cassidy's head if she's going to stay silent.
That's the thing about Cassidy, she always run away with her problems. Always leaving it miserable and doesn't feel like fixing it. Mom always scold Cassidy about her attitude and how she should change it. But for her, changing her attitude is just a waste of time, she won't receive a billions of cash if she successfully changed it and no one cares by the way.
"I-I.. My ring was lost. So I was just hoping that I can see it here. Sorry if I disturbed you."
Before the man can say anything, she ran fast, as fast as she can.

"Bradley!" Cassidy cried. Her sweat were trickling down, her braid was messy and her feet were sore.
"Bradley!"
"Cassidy!" Bradley ran onto her with worry in his eyes.
"Where on earth have you been?" Bradley exclaimed, touching his sisters shoulder blades while looking at her with wide eyes
The both of them may bicker every time but Bradley loves her sister very much, even though she's so stubborn
"And why do you looked like you've ran a marathon? Looks like you do. But anyway, why are you running? Care to explain Cassidy McCarthy?!"
Cassidy frozed. She didn't know how will she explain it to her brother, like if she's going to tell what really happened, her brother will just laugh at her and tell her that hunters do not exist in this era anymore.
"Nothing. I just saw a snake on the brook and it looks so hungry like it can eat me whole. And you know that I'm scared of snakes." After she rambles, she sighed, like the weight on her shoulders was lifted by the angels.
"Oh. I thought you were kidnapped and you just luckily escaped! Oh Cassidy please don't forget to bring your phone. I've been texting and calling you for like how many hours!"
Cassidy nearly face palmed. This is the first time she left her phone. She always have her phone in her.
"Promise I will not forget to bring my phone again. And you know I don't break promises right?"
"You don't break promises because you forget them." Bradley rolled his eyes at her
"Kids it's time to go home now! Your mom keeps on texting me. And I'm tired, the three of us are tired I know that." Uncle Robert said in a tired manner
As the three go to the jeep, Bradley looked at his sister.
Cassidy didn't looked back, she just focused her gaze on the grass as the jeep goes.
