"I'm sorry. I can't be there right now. We really need to finish this." Red explained on the other end of the phone.

Disappointment was all I felt when he said that. I-we've planned this night since that night that we had dinner to celebrate alone. He even suggested the idea of all of this...

"We could do this next time. Just not right now. I'm busy."

This had been happening for the last six weeks. He would always cancel our plans with different excuses. Whether he need to do this, to go there, or something else.

I've always let him slip every time he makes an excuse. But this time, I'm fed up with his excuses, I'm fed up with him. Enough is enough.

"Fine. Do what ever you want. Bye." Then I hanged up.

I turned off my phone and put it on my study table beside the tickets that I've bought for tonight. We're supposed to watch the concert of our favorite band. Too bad he cancelled .

I mean, what's wrong? He was not like this before. Or is it me who's at fault here? Am I a nosy girlfriend or something? Does he regret the time he asked me to be his girlfriend? But it's only have been two months! We've known each other since freshmen.

I should stop. This is ridiculous. I'm just being paranoid.

I sighed. What should I do now? I declined Lovelle's invitation to a party because I was thinking that Red and I are going to watch the damn concert.

The tickets were wasted. The supposed memory of a good night was gone. What should I do now?

I was contemplating between watching netflix or reading the novel that our professor required as to, when I heard a knock from the door.

I went to the door and open it without even asking who was knocking. I regret that move.

Red was outside my dorm room catching his breath. He was clutching his knees while waiting for the door to be opened.

"Sam..."

I looked at him dumbfounded. What is he doing here? His supposed to be busy with something right now.

"Sam can weꟷ"

I slammed the door and locked it before he can even finish. I'm mad at him.

But he started shouting outside while knocking fiercely on the door.

"Samantha! Open the door! Let me talk to you!"

I walked away from the door and sat on my bed.

"Sam! Open the door please! Let's talk."

I sneered. Talk my ass. I'm done talking to him.

"Sam, babe. Please open the  door."

I remained silently sitting on my bed while looking outside my window. And after a few moments. he stopped knocking and pleading outside.

So, he gave up.

Ouch.

Then I heard the knob rattling. I slapped my forehead. I forgot that he had a spare key. Good thinking Sam!

The door unlocked, and I watched as the knobad it slowly rotated. The door opened with a Red grinning like an idiot. But his grin fell from his face when he saw me looking at him seriously mad.

"Babe, I'mꟷ"

"Out."

"What?"

"I said out."
