Day 2 (Part 2)

I put the costume back before anyone else arrived into the pizzeria, I went to go greet David.

"Hey, how was the night shift?" David asked.

"Well.. Bonnie and Freddy wanted to come for a visit.." I slowly rubbed the back of my head.

"One hurt you?" He looked concerned.

"No, uh.. why do you think they'll hurt me?.." I asked in a worried tone.

"Well... Uh... They tend to go after our guards.. I should've told you.." he admitted.

"Why give me this job then.." I continued.

"I figured that you'd be good at it, and you are, you are good at it!" He smiled. I had no idea how to react to that.

I eventually spoke, "this job is really crazy, do you know what's wrong with them that makes them act like that at night?"

"Our mechanics couldn't find anything wrong.." David replied.

"Okay look, I'll stay as your night guard, but seriously, there's something wrong with them." I say and sit down at one of the party tables, Vincent sat beside me.

"Theres nothing wrong with them.. what if they thought there was something wrong with us?" Vincent smirked.

"Hm.. wow, heh.. you think outside of the box.." I made a quiet laugh.

"You're shy, aren't you." Vincent asked.

"how did you know?.." I looked a little shocked.

"You act like it, plus, shy people tend to talk more quiet than other people, you trust me, don't you?" He smiled.

"Wow.. well.. Uh, I trust you sometimes, I guess.." I got up out of the chair and slowly walked over to the stage, I looked at Bonnie and Freddy. Vincent stood next to me, I looked at the floor and sighed lightly.

"I think they like you.." Vincent smirked.

"What makes you say that?" I looked at him, he pointed towards them, I looked at them and all three of them were looking back at me.

"Woah what!?" I quickly stepped away.

"Don't be scared of them.." he sounded as if he was trying to calm me somehow.

"Don't be scared?.. I have every reason to be.." I mumbled too quietly for him to hear. David walked up to me, I looked back at the stage and the animatronics weren't looking at me anymore.

"Hey, Jake, we have a birthday scheduled today, you can go put on a costume if you'd like and get prepared." David said with a smile.

Wow.. coincidence..

"Sure thing, David." I went to the costume room and put on the costume I had last time. I took off my glasses this time then put the orange and red Foxy costume on, and flipped the eye patch over my left eye- my bad eye. I turned to see Vincent looking at me an odd way.

"What?.." I sounded a little worried.

"that suit fits you well.." he said in a calm tone, almost a little scary.

"Uh.. thanks?.." I slowly sidestepped out of the room and approached some staff members who were setting up the party room.

"Oh hi, I assume you're the new guy?" One of the members said. All I could do was slowly nod, I didn't want to talk.

"Hah.. good acting.." she looked a little nervous.

Party guests began entering the pizzeria, I hesitantly stood beside pirate cove, watching the party commence.

After a while, while nobody was looking, I was pulled into pirate cove and I quickly met Foxy's bright eyes.

"Uhh..." I was instantly trembling, Foxy did nothing but stare blankly into my eyes, I couldn't move.

"F-foxy?.." I said in a shaking voice, he looked as if inspecting me, I didn't know what else to do other than just let him look at me. He slowly brung his hook close to my neck.

Oh god...

I closed my eyes, preparing for what might happen next, I only felt my mask being removed, I didn't move. I felt Foxy let me go, I slowly opened my eyes to look at him.

"Oh... Y-you just wanted to know who I was?.." I asked, my voice still shaking, Foxy nodded.

Oh thank god..

I slowly picked up my mask and left pirate cove, Foxy watched as I left. I saw Vincent beside me.

"Foxy didn't know who you were? That happens more often than you think." he smirked.

"How long have you worked here..." I asked.

"Long time." He said quickly.

"huh.. so that's why you know a lot.." I concluded.

"Yep," his tone was as if he didn't want to talk at the moment. I decided to just leave him be, because for some reason he looked frustrated, instead I stood beside the stage.

At least these ones won't grab me in plain sight.. right?..

I looked back at pirate cove, Vincent wasn't there, I then slowly looked at the animatronics on stage, they weren't looking at me. I guess I've developed some sort of paranoia.

I saw David come up to me, "Jake? Is that you? I been lookin for ya."

"What is it, sir?" I replied, not taking off the mask.

He poked his wristwatch,"It's getting late, I'm sure you know the rest."

"Ah, sure thing, I'll go take off this costume then.." I walked off into the costume room and took off the costume, I never realized how fun it was to wear one of those, fun to be anonymous..

I went and got a soda and began walking towards the office, but as I was walking I noticed Vincent out of the corner of my eye, he had a creepy grin. I looked over and he wasn't there.

"Huh?.." I looked around and slowly continued to go back to the office, I sat down, put the soda on the desk, and got ready for my shift.
