I quickly tried to get up and run, but ended up sprawling onto the floor instead, my entire body felt completely numb, Vincent stood over me with a grin on his face.
"You won't be able to do much for a while, not until you get used to being a robot," he laughed, a part of me wanted to attack him, but even if I tried, I know I wouldn't have the strength to right now, I just remained lying there on the floor.
It was nearly six in the morning so Vincent left the room to greet the staff, David went up to him, "Have you seen Jake anywhere? I can't find him.."
"Nope.. but uh, we have a new animatronic, just came in this morning." Vincent replied.
"I don't recall ordering another one.." David said as he thought back.
"Yeah I'm sorry, I got it without your consent, I thought this place could use another character." Vincent said nervously.
"Hm.. Way to think out of the box.. but it is rather odd for Jake to just disappear like that.." David went to his office, Vincent sighed in relief.
A few hours later I was able to get up and walk, but I staggered a lot, Vincent happened to come back at that time, "oh hey.." he looked at me. stared at him with distrust in my eyes, he just stood there.
"Okay, I know you're angry, but come on, you are a robot, you're practically immortal now!" He smiled, I just glared at him.
"Don't even think about attacking me, it won't, work." He glared back, I didn't listen, I tried to grab him but he threw me over his shoulder.
Ow.. oh wait a second..
I got back up, showing no sign of pain, he looked at me,"I wouldn't try that again." This time I listened, he smiled at me as if saying 'that's what I thought.'
I went to leave the room, staggering as I do, Vincent blocked my path, "I can't let you leave, not until you gain full control of the costume, can't let anyone have any suspicions am I right?"
I really want to see my family again... I want to see my friend, mike as well..
Vincent sighed, "you have that look on your face.. you're thinking about friends and family, aren't you?.. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but, you won't see them anymore." He didn't seem that sorry about it.
He continued, "however the robots here will be good replacements for those, but first you need to control yourself." He left the room.
Me? Control myself? I think he is the one who really needs to control himself.. he's insane..
I spent a while walking around the table in the room, I was actually beginning to feel less numb somehow, I could feel my feet touching the floor, how was this possible?
I actually found a small handheld mirror on the table, somehow I was just now noticing it, I slowly picked it up and looked at myself. My costume was still blood stained, but the stain basically covered the entire costume so it just made the costume look slightly old and dirty.
I looked at my eyes, they shined a vibrant reddish orange glow, I'll admit, it did look pretty cool. I set the mirror down and began moving my hands in attempt to gain more feeling in them. After a couple more hours later and I was pretty much in full control.
What do I do now.. there must have been a reason why they turned me into this... this robot..
I peeked out of the room and found two staff members, they had their backs turned, but they were just tidying up the tables. I approached them, my footsteps were surprisingly quiet. I waited there until one of them noticed me.
"AH!" both of them jumped back, they looked terrified until they got a good look at me.
"Oh... It's just the new one.." one of them mumbled out.
Wait so.. Vincent told them about me?..
I approached them more but they ran off, I suddenly got the idea to go look for David, maybe he could help me somehow. If only if I can even convince anyone, without using words, that I'm the missing night guard.
I went to go look for David, but didn't find him anywhere, he must be in his office then, I peeked into his office, he was sitting at his desk and writing something. Once again, I waited there until he noticed me.
"OH SH- uh.. h-heh.. wow.. you spooked me.." he didn't take his eyes off of me, since I just stood there, motionless.
"Uh.. need anything?.." he hesitantly asked, I slowly walked towards the desk and stood in front of him, I looked at him with a sad expression.
"What's wrong?" He looked at me with concern.
Thank god this guy actually listens.. well.. tries to..
I poked my costume in hope that he will understand what I'm trying to tell him.
"Costume dirty?" He guessed.
Ugh..
I shook my head, and tried again, but this time poking.. the inside of my costume.
"You arrre, uhhh.. hurt?" He guessed again, it was close enough, so I nodded.
"I could try to fix ya up, although I'm not a mechanic, I could fix something minor."
Anything that'll make you have a realization!
"We do repairs in the costume room so.. yeah." He lightly smiled then led me back to the costume room.
I watched as he examined me, "so.. what exactly is the problem?" He asked, I poked the inside of my suit again.
"Alright," he smiled and went to go look into my suit, I watched as the smile on his face, quickly turned into sheer horror and shock.
