Those lips burned a brand
Fiery disease knows how to expand
Thoughts of him flood my blood, my mind
They Combust my world, leaving it undefined
This liquid ardor incinerates my vision
It muted, cauterized , a world division
Blinded reality, I see just him glowing in the dark
Evoking his name, my mind’s diacritical mark
Time’s sand trails sluggishly, leaving ashes
My alter ego: a disturbing flame that clashes
Fervency unfolds across my eyes, everything else’s dull
What did I knew of myself? Myself, an incinerated hull…
Elicit the solution, to the fire inside me
This madness, rooting like a Judas tree
Inside I see perishing, the last me
Burning whilst drowning in the red sea
Mischievous thing called Love, hauls insanity
Recently felt its sharp flames filled with inhumanity
Tucking its nails in his memory, hugging the inked name:
Repeating the seductive word…Mercutio…my love’s flame
