I was immersed in the blankets of love
Millions of birds lay on my mind's cracks
But i only saw, that one white dove
That sewed my eyelids with a thread of flax
Blinding me, pulling me, locking me down
And i stepped on my curse's edge
Wrapped it around me, heavy in my heart's town
Willingly i fall, thus i embrace you, i pledge
My senses awaken, hearing your movement
They reverse my world, submerge my fever
My eyes burn, holding the wild abutment
I hear the echo, pounding the clever
Whispering my heart's secret, standing bare
Burning in your gaze's flames, i discerned
And i felt the rapid closeness, i felt no air
Your eyes mirrored my own, they never turned
My blood is singing, a beast in my chest
Noise explodes, it mutes the world's sound
Soul and body, singing your love, a manifest
Drumming, pouring all over the hollow ground
I hungered your touch, smelled your scent
Searched your stormy eyes, fed on your voice
The fool i've been wanting to prevent
The destiny, no, there was no choice
Tenderest touch, your candent breath
Kindest of kisses, it spills on my skin
Hardest of hearts, shattered in death
As you draw my heartlines, red and thin
You release and cage my heart and bones,
Binding me to you in the next world.
