I halt my running and wiping my tears away when I saw the headlights of a black van. The windows rolled down next to me and Gabby was in the passengers seat with Geo. I kept walking and I prayed that they would just drive away.

"Ohh come on!" I could hear the exasperation in Geo's voice.

I roll my eyes, are you serious. Now im definitely not going into the car if all he is going to do is bitch the whole way. Hell no, not on my watch. I picked up my pace and than the van abruptly stopped and seconds later someone was dragging me into the car.

Geo.

I grumbled while listening to a random song that both Gabby and Geo knew . This is practically the most disgraceful thing that's yet to happen to me..today.

Nothing of course beats me wearing an ugly beanie every day for three weeks in sixth grade. Nothing. But this is close.

Gabby sat next to me, Geo sitting pleasantly in the driver's seat. I tried to process my whole kidnapping. But I can't because the love birds are obsessing over a song. This reminds me of that movie with that evil guy and redhead chick. Before he  Coincidentally becomes a total dick. Frozen, that's it. My sister loves-

Wait, love! Oh right Mario now hates me. Or maybe I hate him. But didn't i just compare him to love?

"Where are you taking me?" I ask, my voice cracking. I swear, i can  be disguised as a 12 years old easily.

"Home" he says, angrily lowering the volume to speak.

I look down at the ground that we are passing.

"Where do you live?" He asks.

I huff and give him my address and he takes a sharp right. What's up with people taking such sharp turns?

"You fucker" Gabby muttered at an old women in the car next to us.

I looked up at her as she was muttering such derogatory terms.

Geo looked at her with such admiration that it should be illegal. He should be focusing on the damn road instead!

Fifteen minutes of absolute boredom and horrible song choices later Geo stopped in front  of my house. I thanked them for the ride and made the awkward walk to my front door. I waved them as I rang the door bell.

"Awe that was sweet that they dropped you off sweetpea" she smiles.

I nod my head and she wraps her arms around me.

"Was it fun?" She asks briefly.

I nod my head, all I want to do is go to bed and drown myself in as much self pity as I could. She finally lets me go and kisses my forehead.

By the time morning came I was eating the last of my tub of icecream. I didn't realize how much I think of Mario; like a ghost he haunts my mind, my memories. I stayed up all night, with nothing but YouTube and my thoughts to keep myself company and all of them were of him. I am just so engulfed in the fact that he hates me now. I felt utterly pathetic that I was stuck in such a pickle that I put myself in.

I got from my bed and stumbled into the bathroom, completely exhausted. I washed my face and brushed my teeth. I'm going out for a run.I put on my running shoes and tied down my lion mane of hair.

I didn't really know where to run but I started running, i ran all the way to the park and by then i was breathing heavily. I took a break by a water fountain. I noticed i was still wearing spandex and a tank top from last night. I didn't really care that my favorite night time tank was drenched with sweat. I plop myself on a bench and observe my surroundings. It was a little early in the mornings to be out and about but some were. Usually, middle aged women speed walking alongside peers. I got up from my seat and I bumped into a jogger the frail old women tripped but somehow I was able to help her regain her balance.

"Oh thank you dear" she said, her voice breathy. "may i ask why you are all alone? The only people out here are pessimistic hooligans and my joggers"

"Being a pessimistic hooligan" I chuckle.

She frowns.

"Tell Natalie I'll catch up" she says.

The old lady sits on the bench And I sit too and she stares into my eyes.

"It's a boy huh?" She asks.

"Isn't it always" i asks.

She nods her head slowly, "i lost my husband a year ago, it sure is always a boy that's got you blue"

I was just about to say sorry until she interrupted me, she sported a large grin but her eyes which watered told a different story.

"So dear, tell me what's wrong with you and your lover"

I told her the long story and she nodded her head, gasped, and bite her pink nails anxiously.

"Well, he doesn't sound like the right boy for you" she begin. "But love works in mysterious way"

"Thanks"
