Chapter Six: A walk in the forest

Will Had finished helping Stan and Ford with the dishes and was looking through scrapbooks with Mabel. She was showing everything that happened last summer. He stared at the pages in awe, wondering how such crazy things could happen to a couple of kids. As Mabel turned the page, a picture of Dipper in a fancy suit was shown. But something was different...

"Is that D-Dipper?" Will asked curiously.

"Sort of..." Mabel said, "That's Bipper." A small look of annoyance joined her facial expression.

"Who's Bipper?" He asked.

"Bipper is Dipper, but... umm........." She was trying to find the right words to explain this. It was easy to explain on it's own, but she was trying to think of how she was going to explain Bill Cipher to him.

"Bipper is Dipper, but..." She still struggled. "Okay, look, you will probably say no to this, which would bring up a whole 'nother explanation, but do you know who Bill Cipher is?" She asked.

Will's eyes widened. "Yes I do!" He tried not to act too surprised or anything. "Do you know where he is?!"

"Umm, not really..." She said. She was going to say he was dead, but for some reason Bill seemed really important to Will...

"Anyway, Bill Cipher tricked Dipper, and he took over his body. I called them Bipper, short for Bill-Dipper."

Will was suddenly shocked. Has Bill told him about this before? Will felt like he had. He now recognized the picture by the eyes, Bill's eyes. He touched the photo with his finger. He gently placed it on Bipper's cheek, then slowly lifted it up to his eyes. He looked into the photo's eyes, surprisingly not about to cry.

Mabel stared at him, incredibly confused on why Will would want to know where Bill is. She didn't want to question it or anything though, because Will was a nice boy, and not only that, but he needed them.  So she brushed it off the best she could, even though she was awfully curious...

She turned the page to show Will a picture of Octavia, the eight-legged cow form the mutant petting zoo, when Ford walked in. His face lit up as he saw Will, but he looked away and tried to put on a professional expression. He cleared his throat.

"Will, Mabel, just the people I needed to see. And Dipper. Where is he?"

"Here I am!" Dipper said, running down the stairs. 

"Perfect." Ford said. "So, I was thinking you three and I could go out into the forest today; partly to find out more about who kidnapped Will, but mostly so we can have fun exploring like we used to. We can show Will around the forest." Ford finished.

"Sounds good to me." Dipper said.

"I'm in if Dip Dot is!" Mabel said.

"How about you Will?" Ford asked, "Wanna come?"

"S-Sure, sounds like fun." Will said. He had become a little less stutterish around them, but not enough that was noticeable. He stood up along with Mabel and the two joined Ford and Ford Jr. (lol) at the door. Ford gave them each a journal. Mabel held journal one, Will held journal two, and Dipper held journal three. Ford put a few weapons on his belt just in case, and they headed out the door. 

~~~Short time skip to lunch~~~

Ford, Dipper, Mabel and Will had been roaming the forest, showing Will around. After lunch, Ford planned to show them what's beyond where Dipper and Mabel are allowed to go, and have a quick look at where Will was when Dipper found him. For now, they were sitting on some logs, eating their sandwiches. 

"I can't wait to see if I find a unicorn!!!" Mabel said. "Well, not like last time anyway..." She said, remembering the rude unicorn who tried to convince Mabel she didn't have a pure heart.
