My name is Maribelle Watson. I live in a place that's not really a city, or a suburb, or a small town. It's just a place with people. I've lived here for as long as I can remember, or want to. I go to a typical high school, with typical people, and but for one thing I live a very typical life.
That one thing is dance. Ballet. I've been doing it since even longer than I can remember. I think it began with childish dreams of wearing a crown and a pink tutu, but it quickly went beyond that. It didn't take my mother long to realize how much I loved dance class. So she just kept taking me to them, and I just kept loving them and what was once just a fun hobby grew into an obsession. And so I dance. All the time. I have classes on weekdays, and weekends, and in the morning I get up early to dance and stretch by myself before school.
I have two almost completely separate lives, two different groups of friends. My school friends, and my dance friends. At school I'm popular, at dance I'm talented. At home. I guess I'm just plain Maribelle, myself, nothing more or less.
