The Story of Noob

The Memories

He woke up, in an underground den. Everything inside had a weird story that it came from.

"Ah, your finally awake!"

A light grey cat came around the corner. A fiery aura surrounded him.

"Glad your awake. My name is Ashton, what's yours?"

He couldn't think, in fact, he didn't know. He said the first thing that came to mind.

"Marshmarsh?"

Ashton gave a weird look at him. "Ok, Marshmarsh. You must be hungry." He walked away, passing a glowing green sphere. He could see weird reflections of cats inside.

"What is that? And why can't I remember anything?"

Ashton's ears flicked up, he gave Marshmarsh a weary look. "You could've made this easier." He sat down in front of Marshmarsh. "When I was travailing, I found your body, blood around. I'm guessing you hit a rock or something. I realized you were on the edge of death, because of your cracked memories. I had to take them out. I brought you to my base."

This was crazy to hear. "Well, can you fix my memories?"

He shrugged. "I guess. You'll lose basic memories like your name, but everything else will be there. You can explore the forest if you want, I'll finish at dusk."

Marshmarsh ran in the open terrain and the crowded forest. Everything seemed so peaceful. He returned near dusk, and saw a giant green aura around Ashton. He started to float, he had the memories in his hands. He suddenly fell with a thud. He was still. The memories light grew. Ashton rose, without any sight of pain. He was fine.

"Take this." He handed the memories towards Marshmarsh. "You didn't lose much." As he touched the memories, everything came back. He still has a brother and sister out there. And he lost them. He had to find them. He ran right away from Ashton.

He heard Ashton's voice dying the farther he got from him. It was night. But nothing mattered, only his siblings mattered. He crashed into something, causing him to black out.

"Well, we're gonna have some fun now, right?"
