Abigail's POV

The last thing I remember was I was in a terribly awkward position with Tavington but then I blacked out. I had a bad feeling that we were pulled out. Still that didn't make any sense. Unless what happened with Chrissy was enough to change history so much that they had to re write the story at head quarters. That meant that we didn't complete our assignment either.

Barely opening my eyes I am nearly blinded by the light of the control room. Quickly my hand goes up to block the light as I begin to sit up and look around. I was right here we are back at headquarters. Great I can only imagine what the boss is going to say now. Looking beside me I see Hannah is still asleep. Well I guess I am the one going to be called out.

"Oh good, you are finally awake. Sorry we had to pull you but something came up. Needless to say the boss gave the order and well here you are." Fred says with a cheesy grin and adjusts his glasses.

The bright red haired boy was your typical nerd to me but I also thought of him like a younger brother...who always knew where I was. Now that I think about it that is kind of creepy. Still I smiled at him and nodded my head. Sure I was mad because I didn't know what happened. Knowing the boss had another mission that needed us to be on asap is what concerned me.

Standing from the table Fred helps to stable me as the boss walks in. A big folder in her hand and a odd look on her face. All I knew is that look on her face was never a good sign. Walking up to her she hands me the file. Looking down I look down and see "Salem Witch Trials" written upon it.

"You've got to be kidding." I say as my eyes look right back at hers.

"I wish I was. Apparently there is a new witch their one with real powers who is taking the people of Salem and making them sacrifices to her dark lord. Hannah isn't up yet so I'm afraid I have to send you alone now but once Hannah awakens I swear I will send her." Boss says as she readies the machine again.

"Boss she just woke up. You sure it's a good idea?" Fred asks with a look of concern on his face.

"We don't have time. She needs to go and I know she can do it. I have faith in you Abigail." Boss says as I walk into the machine knowing I still wanted an explanation but that would have to wait until later.

I had a bad feeling but lucky for me Fred handed me the story I was to follow while I was in this time. I was a cousin visiting to help my cousin with her new born baby since the child's father was away at war. My name was still the same. Thank goodness I hated getting new names. My cousin's name was Sarah which fit the time period and the new born child was named James.

"Good luck. I hope that everything works out because this time...I can't pull you back." Boss says as she hits the button and I am transported into the 15th century.

Falling was the easy part but just like last time the landing was a bit worse. Landing in the middle of the woods. Right next to a headstone was not ideal. Oh for the love of...can't they get the landing right? Standing up I dust myself off and realize I am in a dress. Grrr...I hate dresses but still I knew I had to blend in. Walking forward from the woods I hear someone scream.

"HELP!" a young woman screams.

Following the screams I see a man holding the young woman against the tree trying to defile her. Not on my watch pal. Grabbing a nearby fallen tree branch and hit him upside the head as hard as I can. Thank goodness I played softball in High School. Dropping the stick the girls smiles and then hugs me.

"Thank you! I must return and tell my father of this crime." the girl says then takes off.

"Right...what the heck just happened?" I question but then follow in the direction the girl came.

Once I looked upon the city of Salem I wanted to run away as quickly as possible. This place was dirty and just yuck! Why in the world would someone come back to this time willingly. Just then I head someone call out my name. Turning to the left I see a younger red haired woman running my way holding a child close to her.

"Oh thank goodness, Abigail you have finally come. I can not thank you enough!" My supposed cousin calls out to me.

Smiling and playing my part I hug her as I look down at the beautiful baby boy. Well at least I knew what to do with a child. Sort of I mean I baby sat a few times. Still I didn't know what to say really so I just went with what was off the top of my head.

"Cousin I am glad to see you as well and will do all I can to help you in your time of need." Looking around now people were now staring at me.

"Come we just need to get a few things before we head back to the house." she tells me as we begin to walk.

I watch as an older man with long white hair kept his eyes on me. Not only him but there were two other men probably close to my age also looking at me. That made me un easy. I didn't like it here because I knew that even with just one wrong look people would accuse you of being a witch. Well this was one adventure I would have to do alone...well at least until Hannah was able to come here and help me.
