World status: World War II
Where is he? He should be here! Today is the Hero's Welcome! And no, I'm not waiting for any of my relatives, I'm waiting for the one I love the most! Richard Lawrence Emerson.
A soldier of the U.S Army. And I'm Elizabeth Ruby Clarkson. My father is a successful businessman. And I will inherit his company, Clarkson Group of Companies.
After 30 minutes, the bus that carries the soldiers arrived. All soldiers went out at once and the field was so crowded. Until I noticed his golden blonde hair. I quickly went to his direction and finally saw him!
"I missed you so much Liz!" He said. I hugged him and I cried "I missed you too as well! What took you so long?" I asked. "There was a little bit of traffic. I'm sorry!" He answered.
After that we quickly went to his house on the fields. He is just a farmboy. My parents doesn't approve with my relationship with him. But nevermind them! I'll always follow my heart!
"So... the mayor's gonna throw a party!" I said "What kind of party?" He asked while fixing his things. "It's a party for the soldiers! I was hoping that we could join since you know... we see each other rarely since you became a soldier!" I said.
He went to my direction and he suddenly kissed my lips. "Of course we will go to that party!" He said. I smiled and hugged him. "Thank you so much!" I said.
I checked the time and it's already 6:00pm. "I've got to go! My dad will look for me!" I said. He kissed my cheeks and we said our goodbyes for today!
By the time I get home. I notice that there are alot more cars than usual. Oh no! Not again!
"Sweetie welcome home!!" My mama greeted. "Mama! Is papa choosing my groom again?" I asked angrily! "Of course sweetie! Your papa and I wants a better person for you and someone who is not a farmer." She said "Grrr... I dont need you to decide who I choose to marry! I will choose who I'm going to marry and that's Richard!" I shouted.
I quickly went to my room and lay in my bed. I calmed down a little! "Dont be angry!" I said to myself. "Tomorrow, you'll have the best night with Richard." Slowly and slowly, I feel myself getting sleepier and sleepier until finaly, I'm asleep.
