Acceptance

I started packing Richard's stuff. I'm still wearing the ring ge gave me.

I saw some of his old photo when he was still a baby with his parents. I never asked him what happened to his parents. I never had the guts to ask.

Papa arrived at Richard's house. I looked at him and he hugged me. "Don't be sad sweetie, his happy up their." Papa said. "But papa, It's to early for him to be up their!" I complained. "Shhh.. don't worry sweetie, he'll always be with you." Papa said the point out to my heart. I smiled and hugged him. He hugged me back he let go and complained that he could'nt breath.

Today is Richard's funeral. Since I'm in a bad mood, papa allowed me to go but with him.

Papa helped me fixing his stuff. Then he noticed a box that has a 'bring home sign' written over it. I explained that I'm carrying back homr but he disagreed.

After keeping his stuff, papa and I got ready for Richard's funeral.

I'm with some of Richard's closest friends. Some even comforted me. Even though his friends are here, I can't see a single relative.

After the burial, I was the last one to leave. I asked papa to give me some time alone at Richard's grave and he agrees and went back home. "Richard... we're supposed to get married rember?" Tears suddenly fell from my eyes. "You know.. even though we haven't made our vows to the altar, atleat we made our vows for ourselves." More tears fell. "Even though you're gone.. I will always love you." I place a picture of him and I beside his grave and left.

I went to the car that my father left for me to use to go home.

"Are we going home Ms. Clarkson?" Asked the driver. "Yes
. But we will leave again once I've changed my clothes." I answered. The driver noded and he started driving.

I opened the door once I got home. Papa is waiting for me. "Sweetie, I have something to say.." I got nervous because he looked so serious. "We bought the house of that Richard, so you won't have to..." I cut him off by hugging him "Thank You Papa!" I whispered in his ear.

"By the way papa I need to go to the home of the Walters." I said. "Why is that sweetie?" Papa asked. "To answer a question I left behind".

We arrived at the Walter Mansion. I knocked on the door as soon a I got out of the car. I heard Cameron shouting that he'll open the door. He opened the door and was surprised to see me.

"What are you doing here Elizabeth?" He asked. I'm annoyed because he keeps calling me by my full name! "Call me Li..." I paused. Liz is the name that Richard calls me, he's the only one who will call be by the name Liz. "Call me Eliz insted" I said. "And I'm here to answer a question Cameron." The atmoshere was full of silence until the wind broke it.

I'm sorry Richard but....

"Yes, I will marry you Cameron."
