Rouge usual wears make-up but when she's moved to on the island in Sonic Boom she started wearing it less due to beach days. The first day any of them knew about it is when she meet up with Knuckles to hang with him. She was super embarrassed about it at first, but Knuckles said she looked beautiful and said she shouldn't have hid her beauty for so long. She then started wearing it a lot less.
