Thronick

"What exactly are you doing?" He asked me as I tried to flip a pancake on the pan. "I am making breakfast, if you don't want it, then make your own" I replied tiredly and tried to reach for a plate but my hand slipped and hit the plate, making it come crashing down. Instead of getting angry, I took a couple breaths and looked at Thronick, "COUGH COUGH" I yelled. "What" he asked, "that's my hint to HELP ME" I said madly. He came over with a broom and trash bin and started to pick up the glass. "Well that's annoying, that was the only dish set left. Looks like we will be buying new plates" I said totally trashing the burnt pancakes. I grabbed coat, "coming"? "You're going in your night clothes" he asked with a weird tone, "I want to get this over with, I have to make dinner later, let's go!" I started to pull his arm out the door. When we arrived to the store I looked at different designs, though none I fancied. There was actually one set I did have my mind on, but it didn't match our kitchen! "Babe, let's go! We can come back later" Thronick cried back hugging me. "No sweetheart, I have to get new plates", I told him sadly. Finally I found the perfect set! "I don't get why we need a whole new set RIGHT now! We have enough plates for the both of us!" He whined. "I know, but you know my OCD" I lied. I had to keep the surprise hidden from him. Though this shopping trip, was NOT apart of the plan. After we left the store, I sent Thronick to get some items. Or should I say, to get him out of the house. I started on a cake while some of my friends came to put balloons and streamers up. "I can't believe he forgot his own birthday" my friend laughed, "he is insane" I chuckled. Soon more of his friends started coming over. "Okay, we need to all get down and when I say 'surprise' everyone repeat. That isn't pushy right?" I asked scared. "No, don't worry! We want to make this a special night for the BOTH of you" another friend called and that really made me feel touched. "Okay! He's arriving" I called as we all ducked down. "Surprise" I whispered and we all jumped up yelling, "SURPRISE"! "Wow, oh my gosh! Y/N I forgot my own birthday" he started to laugh. "I know, that's because you are stressed" I pulled him over to the counter where the cake was. "Ready to make a wish" I asked and he replied with a simple, "for what? There is nothing more I need" he bent down and kissed my forehead and everyone started to laugh and say 'awe'!
