"Oh my gosh. Emily I have no idea what to do on our second date! Like, why is he even asking me? Shouldn't he be planning it?" I asked my friend Emily. I was recently asked out by my friend, Myles, and as you can tell, this will be our second date. But Myles wants me to plan the date which is really annoying me. I understand he wants me to have fun, but I want him to take control of this matter.
"How about you rent a boat?" Emily asked.
"You know what? That's a great idea! My mums friend has a pontoon boat" I told her.
     "Well, I guess it's a date" Emily started to laugh. I immediately ran to the kitchen and picked up the phone.
"Hi, is Grace speaking?" I asked the other side of the phone.
"Yes, is this Y/N?" My mum's friend, Grace asked.
"Yeah. I was wondering if my date and I could use your pontoon boat?" I asked.
"Of course, just text me more information" she replied.
"Of course. I'll talk to you later. Bye" I hung up. Before I forget, I texted Grace what my plan was. I am going to pick Myles up on Friday and drive to the dock an hour before sunset. Emily came into the room.
"You just got a text" she told me and I grabbed my phone.
"Oh. My. Gosh" I panicked.
"What's wrong?" Emily asked concerned.
"He wants to bring his friend!" I shouted.
"It's okay. Breathe. Maybe he's never been on a date before. I'll go with you and it'll look like a double date" Emily told me. I looked at her with my mouth falling open. This is a mess.
FRIDAY|DOCK|HOUR BEFORE SUNSET
"So this is my friend Simon" Myles smiled.
"Nice to meet you" I held out my hand and he shook. Simon was looking really good. He wore a white shirt and blue jean shorts. For a minute I found myself asking who was hotter, Simon or Myles. Then I felt something in my gut and looked down, Emily threw a cooler in my arms.
       "Help us load the boat boys and we'll be off," Emily winked. The boys grabbed some bags with food and other things and we jumped in the boat. I poured myself some lemonade and sat on the long bench.
        "So have you guys done 'it' yet?" Simon asked me. I spit my lemonade into the lake.
        "I'm guessing no," Simon told me and winked. I started to blush and reached for a bag of crisps. Myles was steering the boat and I could tell he was listening, but he kept his eyes on the water. Emily was taking pictures of herself, probably to post on social media. Finally we came up to a huge rock and decided to jump.
          "No way," Myles said and folded his arms. Without waiting any longer, I grabbed a life jacket and jumped off the boat. The water was cold but because of it being hot outside, it felt nice. I swam to the rock and started to climb it, the next thing I felt was very unexpected. I felt a large hand on my butt.
           "Do you need help?" Simon asked below me. I looked back up and kept climbing. When I got to the top i looked at Myles in the boat. He sat at the drivers seat and played on his phone. Emily finally got up and before taking a look at how high we climbed, she grabbed my hand and put me into the lake. Simon followed and landed right in front of me. When he came up we were face to face. Emily gasped and I swam back to the boat without a second to spare. The rest of the boat trip was full of small ways of Simon flirting with me. When we got back to the dock, Myles and I said bye. I said bye to Simon and he secretly slipped something into my bikini bottoms. I blushed and Emily started the truck. I jumped in and i looked at Emily.
            "Simon," Emily and I said at the same time. We started to laugh and I reached for what was in my bottoms. It was a receipt with a number written on the back. I smiled and texted who I thought it was.
             "Simon?" I typed.
             "Yes?" He replied. Before I could answer another text came through from Myles.
             "Third date?" Myles asked.
             "Let's stay friends," I laughed out loud.
             "What's so funny?" Emily asked. She knew exactly what I was laughing at.
             "I heard you and Myles are just friends. We should be more than that," Simon texted me and I typed back, "yes."

A/N : It has been a long time. I apologize. School was driving me crazy but now I can get back to it.
