I pulled into the nearest gas station as my car barely made it. All of a sudden, my car shut down. 'TWO INCHES AWAY!' I screamed to myself. So there I was, obviously looking like an idiot, my car shut down before I could even get to the pump. It was my lucky day, note the sarcasm! I looked around looking for bystanders but no one was in sight. I decided to take a breather and grab a drink in the little store and hopefully find someone who could help me. As I opened the door, I was greeted with young a boy's laugh. He stood at the counter and was having a great conversation with the boy cashier until he saw me. His smile fell and he looked almost dazed, so I slowly approached the two boys. "Hi, um.. Okay this is really weird and embarrassing but my car needs gas and I can't reach the pump. Oh! That's because it shut down and I can't move it" I started to secretly hit myself. "C'mon man, we can help this young lady move her car" the cashier smiled. "Thank you so much! How can I repay you?!" I asked with a huge smile. "Don't worry about it" he replied. We left the store to my car, "this will be easy" the other boy laughed. They both pushed my car into the pump and it fit beautifully. "How about I buy you both a soda" I asked. "Sounds good on such a beautiful night" we all laughed. I bought three Pepsi's and we sat down at a table. "So, you don't have an accent like the one we do in Korea. May I ask where you are from" the cashier asked. "(Where you live). May I ask your names in return" I blushed. "Mine is Kyungsoo and this is Ji Ho, though his rapper name is Zico" I looked at Zico with the flushed cheeks. "Bro stop. I'm sorry, he is not normally like this" Kyungsoo smiled. "Aw, don't worry. This is really cool, but I should leave. Thank you for your help!" I started to leave. "Wait" I felt a hand grab my arm, "this wasn't a lot of time, here I'll give you my number to catch up. After all, I don't like Pepsi" Zico smirked. "Are you saying that the repayment was unacceptable" I laughed. "Maybe..." He smiled. I took a pen and grabbed his arm, "this is my phone number, write it down before it washes off" I winked and left. I guess I better start getting the cans of Pepsi out of my house. 😂
