Scarlett's Point Of View
We were all fighting when I fell back as a alien tried to stab me. I wrapped my leg behind its neck and shocked it. Taking its own weapon and killing it. Turning around at a sound I almost shot at Steve, but didn't. He walked over to me as I tried to get my breath back. Natasha walking up too.
"Captain, none if this is going to mean a damn thing if we don't close that portal." We looked up to the sky.
"Out biggest guns couldn't touch it." He replied.
"Well, maybe it's not about guns." We looked at Natasha.
"If you want to get up there, you're going to need a ride." Steve looked at her.
"I got a ride." She said, giving off that look like your done with life, and taking a few steps back. "I could use a boost, though." Steve then took a few steps back.
"Are you sure about this?" He looked at her again, readying his sheild.
"Yeah. It's gonna be fun." She then took off running and jumped on the car hood then on his sheild, flying into air.
"Amd then there were two." I laughed as I began to take out more aliens that just had to show up. Tony showed up for a small moment to help then flew off again. Then next thing I knew, an alien was trying to stab Steve in the face. I was about to help him, but he gout it all under control.
"Captain, the back on42nd past Madison. They've cornered a lot of civilians in there." Clint said into our ears.
"I'm on it." He said out of breath.
"Steve." My eyes widened. "That's were Sage was going." His eyes widened and he ran off.
Sage's Point Of View
I was trapped at the bank, trying to help the people. It was well until some of the aliens showed up. I couldn't try to kill them, I could risk killing someone else. I couldn't say anything in my ear piece or they would shoot at me. I then heard what sounded like a bomb being activated. Then all of a sudden clang and the aliens turned there backs. Then they start firing their weapons. One fell over onto the railing.
"Hurry everyone! Everyone hurry out!" I yelled helping people out. An alien fell from the second floor stopping people in their tracks.
"Everyone! Clear out!" Steve yell before and alien grabbed him.
"You heard Captain America, go!" I yelled before running to the second floor.
Just as I got up there, an alien thrown the bomb thing at Steve. I ducked behind a column just as it went off. But I saw Steve fly out the window.
"Steve!" I screamed, causing an alien to look at me. "Shit." I whispered, trying to grab my gun.
I was then grabbed by my throat and lifted off my feet. I kicked my legs trying to get free. I then turned on my cuffs and shocked the alien right in the eye, sending him falling to the ground. I fell to my knees trying to get my breath back. When I looked up, I saw Steve's top of his mask. Slowly getting up, I grabbed it and hurried outside. Running outside, his back was facing the bank.
"Steve!" I yelled before running over to him.
He turned around catching me in his arms and giving me a hug. When we pulled away, he lightly rested his hand on my new forming bruise. I took his hand away and help it on my own.
"I'm okay." I nodded my head and held his mask up with my free hand. "I found this." He smiled and lightly took it out of my hand.
"Let's go." He said and we ran off.
Running we took out a few aliens on the way. Running back to were Scar was, we helped her take on the group that surround her. When we were down to two, I was hit off the brigde and when flying through the air.
Scarlett's Point Of View
Sage was cornered by an alien, I was about to run to her side when the alien hit her over the rail.
"Sage!" I screamed, tears coming to my eyes. I ran at the alien and shocked it's neck killing it.
I ran to the rail and tried to find Sage. She was nowhere is sight. I was about to jump over to go look for her when Steve grabbed me by my waist. I fought to get away from him, but it was no use. When I gave up, he let go of me and I fell to my knees. Tears ran down my face.
"Scarlett come on, we gotta fight. If not for the people, do it for her."
He pulled me to my feet and we ran to take out aliens. I took all my anger out on anyone that I hit. Thor dropped down and helped us fight. I watched Steve get hit in the stomach and he fell face first. Thor hit a car taking about six or seven before helping me. I watched him walk over and help Steve to his feet.
"You ready for another bout?" Thor asked him.
"What, are you getting sleepy?" Steve asked out if breath and Thor got his hammer back.
I can tell that when Sage flew over that rail, his heart broke all over again. I wasn't the only one hurt by it.
