My day was absolutely horrendous today. I rolled out of bed and got the mail. No acceptation letter to the University of Hawaii like I had hoped there would be, there were however bills for my dad to pay. Great. We were already behind a payment.
I realized I was late and sprinted out the door to the bus stop, but the driver didn't see me or he wasn't kind enough to stop so I may get on. So I ended up walking to the mall~~~~~~~
Once I got to the dojo in the mall I got shouted at by the manager, who has been on my ass since I started last fall. She got cut off by the man in charge, who almost never comes out of his office unless it's to chew off someone's ear for not doing something correctly.
Today that person was me, as I was not on time, and I had only four years of martial arts experience, plus the year and a quarter I'd been there. Before the manager of the place could lecture me until I went deaf, the little children I was in charge of watching and teaching walked into the old room, giving me an excuse to slip away from the tomato red lady, ready to explode.
"All righty kids. Let's get down to business" I said
"To defeat the huns?" A quiet voice peeped up from the large group of kids asked.
"Yup exactly!"~~~~~~~
Not a few minutes later I felt a gaze at my back but I tried to ignore it, however it was later replaced with two gazes of some random guys who looked to be about my age maybe older. One had a head of gorgeous golden locks, the brightest baby blue eyes I had ever seen, and a lopsided grin which he flashed at me. The other was a black haired guy, no doubt handsome, but in a different way than the other guy who was quickly pulled away. One thing I thought I would never forget is that second boys eyes. They were simple brown eyes, almost black, but I saw regret hurt and fear flash through them in a split second, shaking me to the core.
