Chapter 37

The next day went by pretty fast. My real classes didnt start yet but Stanford was pretty cool. I missed Jason a lot. I missed how hes always understandable. I missed how he always knew what's right. I missed how we used to hang out. Kayaking. I loved kayaking just as much as baseball. Baseball. I remembered he used to train with me. I did everything with him. He was my best friend. During gym class, he would be team captain and always pick me to be his assistant. I miss those days. I knew him longer than Harry.

"So are you doing anything today?"

"Im suprising Harry."

"Where?"

"He was invited to a party and I said I wasnt going."

"Oh. Thats cool."

I turn around to face him.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I just wanted to hang out with my best friend."

"Me too. You wanna hang tomorrow?"

"Of course."

"Its a date."

"I'll pick you up at 7."

"We live in the same dorm."

"Exactly."

I slipped my flats on and headed to the address that Harry texted me. It took me a while to figure out where it was. It was an unfimiliar address. When I got there, it was a bar? A party at a bar. Ok then. I walked inside and immediately saw Louis and Niall standing there.

"Hey guys. Having fun?"

"Hey Kaite... KAITE. Um... I thought you werent coming."

"I decided to suprise Harry. Where is he anyways?"

"Um... Hes... Somewhere."

Louis was looking weird. So was Niall. Its like theyre hiding something.

"You two are weirdos."

I walked around the club and Louis and Niall were following me.

"Kaite. Stop."

I ignored them and kept walking. When I reached a booth in the back, I saw Harry. Finally. I walked a little closer and there was a girl next to him. Her arm was around Harrys waist and the other one was on his ding-dong. What hurt most was Harrys arms were around her shoulders. When his eyes meet mine, they widen. I turn around and saw Louis and Niall.

"Kaite, dont--"

"Shut up Niall."

I stormed out of there like it was no tomorrow. I happened to bump into Jason. Jason? I would talk to him but my face was fulled with tears.

"Kaite. Whats wrong?"

"Nothing."

I was about to walk past him but Harry came out as well.

"Dude. Get out of here."

"I see youre the one who caused this."

"Mind your own buisness."

"No. If she went out with me, this wouldnt have happened."

"Wow. Wow. Wow. Date you? She would never date you. Shes mine."

"She doesnt belong to you and you dont own her."

"Says who? Oh right. No one."

This was getting annoying. I walked away from that.. that mess and went to the closest house possible. Perrie's. I havent talked to her since, ever. I knocked on the door and she opened it.

"Hey Kaite. Why are you crying?"

"Long story."

"Come in,"

I did as told and sat on the couch which was extremely soft.

"So what happened?"

"A girl was all mushy on Harry and Harry was mushy too."

"Are you drunk?"

"What? No."

"Well maybe Harry has a reason."

"I dont want one. We're getting married next week and this is what he does?"

Her jaw dropped and her eyes widen like owls.

"Youre getting married?"

"Yeah."

"Dont you think youre moving too fast? I mean, you just started college and you still have a lot going. Youre still a teenager."

She makes this sound awful.

"Im sorry to ruin youre mood but I still think youre rushing it."

"Youre right."

"So what are you going to do?"

"Do what I dont want to do, talk to Harry."

"Ok dear. You can sleep here tonight."

"Thanks Perrie. Youre the best."

She gave me a sandwhich and left me alone. I pulled out the bed in the sofa and layed on it. How could he. After all we've been through. Bitch. All of a sudden, my thoughts floated away.

I woke up to hair in my face. I got up and saw Harry sleeping. How is Harry in Perries house? I look around and Im not in Perries house. Im in Harrys room. How'd I get here? Harry began moving around and woke up.

"Goodmorning."

"Why am I here?"

"I picked you up from Perries."

"Why?"

"I wanted to talk to you."

"Me too."

"Um.. So.."

"Im not getting married to you."

"What?"
