Later on that day, Jonathan came Downstairs and plopped down beside me on the couch. I look forward refusing to make eye contact with Jonathan. I feel my cheeks heat up for no apparent reason and I look down pulling my hat so it covers my face.
Jonathan's POV
I turn to face sock as I see him look down hiding his face from me. "Sock? Are you okay?" I try to uncover his face not using much force but failing anyways. Why is his face all red I thought. "Was it about earlier?" He shakes his head slightly. "Sorry for acting that way, you just sorta popped the bubble I wanted to stay in" he turned to me slowly and I'm already facing and looking at him. Seeing the tears form in his eyes, I instantly feel bad as if it was my fault seeing him like this. "Its okay Jonathan"
"Everything's fine" I know sock doesn't lie about most things but this time I could see it in his eyes. "Don't lie to me" something in my mind is telling me a hug will make it better but since when do I give hugs? I attempt to anyways, since he was facing me I might have leaned to close to his face and was a couple inches away from kissing him. I instantly stop and cover my mouth, blushing bright red and he was doing the same.
"Jonathan..I.." he sounded like he wanted me to kiss him. Turning away I'm still listening to whatever he had to say.
Socks POV
I was choking on my words, I got this feeling inside me that I've never experienced before. I felt, good, it was a warm feeling that I didn't know what it was called. This is all new to me.
