"Something about you makes me feel like a dangerous woman!"

"Dan..."

"Something about you makes me wanna do things that I shouldn't!"

"Dan-"

"Something 'bout, something 'bout-"

"Dan, I mean this in the nicest way possible... Shut the fuck up!" I growled, the traffic lights turned green before I could injure him in any way, and I sped up trying to overtake all of the idiots driving in front on me. Honking the horn, I shouted out the window. "Speed up grandma!"

"Luna, calm down, jeez what got you all riled up this morning?" Dan furrowed his brows at my obvious bad mood.

"One, it's the first day back at school, two, I got barely any sleep last night because a certain four year old brother was throwing up every twenty minutes, and three, in approximately twelve minutes we will be late on the first day." I muttered, overtaking the Ford Focus in front of us, making me let out a breath of relief because I was finally going over twenty miles an hour.

"Hey, school isn't that bad." I gave him a deadpan look and he frowned. "Okay, maybe it is... But it could totally be worse. Your brothers caught another bug? God, the immune system on that kid is awful, he's going to the doctors tonight anyway, so that will be sorted. And we won't be late because we still have eleven whole minutes left, take off the two it takes to get to school and a couple to find a parking space, we will be fine."

"Yeah, I guess so." I turned left into the school gates and gave a smile for the first time that morning. "Thanks."

"No problem buddy." He grinned cheekily before turning the radio back up loud. "Something about you make me feel like a dangerous woman!"

I let go a breath of frustration at his god-awful singing and turned the engine off consequently cutting off the rest of the song. "Luna!" Dan whined at me and I rolled my eyes, opening the door and throwing my rucksack onto my shoulder.

After locking it, I looked up to see the place I would be spending one last year at. East Valley High School. "I hate this place."

"I know."

"I hate my classes."

"I know."

"I hate everyone here."

"I kn- hey!"

"Sorry. Everyone except you, who is the best-est best friend on the entire planet."

"I should think so." He grinned again, grabbing my hand pulling me towards the main doors.

"No!" I whined loudly but let him drag me through the doors... After trying to run back to my car and leave. He had shot him arms around me waist and held me in the air whilst I was kicking and fighting, and I may have stomped on his foot.

"You left teeth marks!" He exclaimed. And I might have bitten him too.

"Sorry." I glanced at him sheepishly.

"Last time I try and keep you here without protective armour." I scoffed loudly.

"I'm not that bad." He shoved his arm with the imprints of my teeth in my face and I rolled my eyes at him. "I didn't bite you that hard, and last year you got a kick at Little Dan, so I suggest you stop complaining."

He quietened down remembering all the violence I had shown towards him on the first day of school in previous years, let me tell you this, it was not pretty. I detested school with a passion. School is basically shoving a load of teenagers who secretly hate each other, into classes which they also hate with teachers they hate too. And then give them homework to do because obviously seven hours of learning was not enough.
