I believe that it is a necessity to have balance in life. Like right now, I really would have suffered had I not had this balance.
I have the perfect balance between a very neat lady and the standard, typical teenage girl.
My car is tidy, but filled with clothing I had left in my car. Sometimes I'd go shopping and forget I did then leave the bags in the trunk. Or I would change clothes in my car and leave them there. So now I thank my teenager side.
All my life, not that it's that long really, I have been told that I am such a lady. Why? Well, since like the beginning of grade school - note the exaggeration- I always kept a cosmetic bag in my purse.
It had my whole life. There is a toothbrush and toothpaste, mints, hand sanitizer, hand lotion, tissues, lip gloss, and a compact mirror.
Plus, my purse always has extra underwear and sanitary towel. Don't ask why.So when I woke up the next morning, I quickly walked out of my room going to my car.
Look at this crazy girl... walking around in just an oversized top at 06:00 am. Must be on something.
I shrugged my shoulders at my internal thoughts and continued with my journey. By the time I reached my car, I had had just about 69 internal conversations with the valet parker as he escorted me to my car.
I grabbed 3 bags at random - actually I knew that each boutique had its specialities so I knew I had a complete outfit with me - and made my way back.
Thank goodness for the perks of being in a penthouse suit. I had a luxurious bath with the choice of assorted salts, oils, and shampoos at hand. So after my bath I quickly put my hair into two French plaits while it was still wet then commenced with getting dry, moisturized, then dressed.
I had on my red Victoria Secret lace underwear and matching bra. Brings out my auburn hair, you see.
I walked to the living area after I had decided to call up room service. I ordered my breakfast meal and waited for it to arrive. I wrapped my towel around me when I heard the knock at the door.
"Good morning, Ms Johnson, your breakfast is here. "
"Pietro! Good morning!" I said to the handsome man in front of me.
He nodded his head and didn't look back up. The only time he would look at me would be through his eyelashes. Did I mention that my towel ended just above my mid thigh?
"Please, enjoy your breakfast, ma'am, I'll be leaving."
"It's Carmen, Pietro, not 'ma'am' . I'm not that old. "
"If you insist. Good day. " he said retreating.
I smirked at his awkward self and laughed a little at his demeanour. Suddenly I heard my phone buzzing from the bedroom on the nightstand. I quickly went and answered the unknown number.
"Hello, " I said with coolness to my voice.
"Hey, " replied a deep, husky voice. I could only guess that it belonged to the Greek god.
"So is there any chance that I could, at least, get your name? " he continued.Not. Just. Yet.
"Pinewood Hotel. Penthouse suit. 1 hour. " and then I ended the call.
That should give me enough time to eat and get ready...
I grabbed the bowl of yoghurt from my tray and began eating from it along with a handful of mixed berries I ordered.
Once I was done with that I went back to my room to get dressed. "What do we have here?" I pondered as I looked through my bags.
I took out a pair of olive, skinny jeans and a black, cashmere T-shirt. To complete my outfit, I got a pair of black pumps and my purse.
Once I had those on, I checked the time to see it was 09:30, half an hour until he should arrive. With that, I started to undo the plaits I had made when I had just bathed, leaving my already curly hair in gentle waves down my back, ending at my hips.Once that was done, my makeup as well, I answered my, again, ringing phone.
"Nali, " I spoke."Still not telling where you are?" She asked as I got my keys and made my way down to the lobby.
"Now, where's the fun in telling you? I like keeping you in suspense." I said with a little laugh as I got into my car."As if I'm worried, " she said with a scoff.
Then she ended the call.
