We're In It Together

     It had been a week since I came out of the hospital. A lot has happened. Since I was shot my life hadn't been the same. My mom and dad have started signing the divorce papers. Grant has been my only family since they were starting to separate. My mom and dad don't talk to me as much anymore. It was only me and Grant. I started school yesterday. Everyone was nice and sweet at school. I got flowers, teddy bears, and candy, but not everyone was sweet as candy. Rose, of course, had to use the incident as another way to try and manipulate me. Key word try.
Couple of minutes ago...
I was have so far a good day. I came to school and Grant was waiting at my locker. Then the dark cloud that is Rose came walking to me with her little minions, Jasmine Wright and Alex Ross. "Look girls, the rape victim is back. I hope he didn't hurt you too bad. We wouldn't want Grant to think you were Mr. Howard's sloppy seconds." I had enough. I threw my book bag to the floor and was about to tackle her. I really would have tackled her to the ground, but Grant used literally using all his strength to pull me back.
"Let me go Grant!!! If I break her nose she could always go to Dr. John and fix it like she always does!!" I yelled. She could make fun of me and tell me I'm a bitch, but she crossed the line when she brought Grant into this. I tried to get free, so I could smack her and her plastic surgery face.
"How dare you say my nose is fake!? It's just enhance that's all," she said pointing at her nose.
"Yeah, along with the rest of you. Trust me those are fake boobs if I ever saw any!" Her minions both held her back.
"All right, lets go to the auditorium," Grant said pulling me there.
"We're not finished yet O'neil!" Rose screamed.
"Can't wait!" I yelled back.
Now...
"What was that about?! Are you okay?"Grant asked.
"I'm fine, it's just what she said," I said. I was a bit embarrassed that Grant had seen me like that. All crazy and angry.
"What did she say?"

"She said that I was going to be Mr. Howard's sloppy seconds to you. I couldn't take it any more! When she brought you into it I lost it. Now that I think about it, do you think I'm just sloppy seconds to you?" I then realized I was crying.
"Come here," he said pulling me into a hug. I started to sob,"you are no seconds. I love you so much. Mr. Howard and Rose Harper can rot in hell for all I care. You matter too much too me. I could never think bad about you," he put his hands on my face," you and me are in this together." Then I did the only thing I knew to do when I felt down. I sang.

While Grant and I were singing, Rose was standing right outside. Listening to every word we said and sang. "Cristina you're the best thing ever to happen to me. We both have our flaws, but we help each other out. No matter what or who gets in the way, I will always love you," Grant kissed me,"I should get you mad more often, you look hot when your angry." I laughed.
"Thank you, I think?"

Heyy guys,
I have a couple of things to tell you. First of all, I was in Washington DC a week ago, and I'm still trying to get use to coming back, considering it was a 10 hour drive and I couldn't sleep the entire time. Second of all, I want to know what you guys want to read. Well that's all I got to say.
