The sun rises up from the mountain tops and the light shines over Tokyo 8 and its cities and pastures, as people walk towards their jobs and friends and family can meet up and greet. The bright warmth of the rays shine down onto my room and i lay there on my bed, still listening to the old casette player that my mom gave me yesterday. I havent stopped as the player clicks and restarts to the begining as any other life here on this planet.
"Satoshi!!" My mom knocks on the door and i keep on looking out the window with the headphones still in my ears drowing out all sound from this place.
"Alright in the count of three im coming in!" She exclaims but i stay still.
"ONE." Nothing. "TWO." She yells. I stand up and walk over to the door and put my hand on the knob.
"OKAY YOU GOT IT NOW THR-" I open the door and she comes in crashing into my room and falls to the floor.
I put a little smile on my face because it looks as if she finally got over of what was troubling her the past day or so. She rubs her head and looks up to me and her facial expression changes back to that blank state of gloom.
"Oh...You're still listening to that." She says quietly while she stands up.
"Im sorry if i caused you trouble." I say back as i help her up.
She looks at me again and puts out a sigh like as if she's been under stress.
"You're just like him Satoshi, and i cant help but just stare at you. You're such a weird child." She walks away and puts on a coat as she goes over to the door. "Dont forget to lock on your way to school and hurry you'll be late, today is the day for that big trip you guys have been talking about."
Oh crap i forgot about the school trip to the mainlands of japan, i heard that Tokyo III is around there and i wanted to check it out.
"Alrighty then Satoshi, see you soon." She says as she closes the door.
You're just like him...Him....Who mom? was it dad? no because you wouldve said his name. Is it that boy from the photo? I dont understand why she said that to me.
I look over to the time as it reads 7:09.
Oh crap im gonna be late!

The cold wind of autumn flows through the air that im running against as i rush to school. I see the bright cloudy sky above me and the morning joggers. I take in a deep breath and keep running as i enter the city, the many people walking down the street towards whatever life they have whether its work or school. I watch them as i walk down the stairs to meet up with the other school children making their ways, i look over to the school parking lot and see the buses that we are going to travel in. Maybe on this trip i can see the world that i wished.
"Hey Satoshi wait up!" I hear a familer voice calling me from up the steps, i stop and turn around to see who it is and no other than Ayumi running down waving her hand. The wind breezes her straight brown hair and the short skirt of the school uniform.
"Oh...uh...Hey Ayumi i was just getting to class...so um" I stutter. Everytime i talk to her its like this, its not i have a crush for her she's just a friend that happened to come through to me.
"Well so was i of course" She pats me on the back.
"Oh...yeah..what was i thinking hehe" Pathetic as usual.
"So Satoshi are ready for this trip? Ive been waiting for this since the first time they talked about! ooh i cant wait till we see Tokyo III." I stop as she continues walking forward. "Whats wrong Satoshi?" she says.
