After receiving the news from Anne, Will had immediately run out to the workshop to tell the others. Together, they decided that Will, Claire, and Max would go with Anne and Alastair to stop the automaton. Hank and Jennifer agreed to stay behind with Emily.
"If that thing comes within a mile of the house, I want you and Jennifer to take Emily and get the hell out of here," Will quietly said to Hank as he pulled him aside.
"Will..." Hank began to say.
"Hank, promise me," Will insisted.
"Alright...I promise," Hank conceded.
"Thanks," Will said as he gave Hank a hug.
Will turned to Emily and smiled.
"We're gonna go turn that big meanie off now, ok?" Will said.
"Be careful, Will," Emily said as she gave her brother a hug.
"I will, Em," Will agreed. "Don't worry. Max and Claire will be watching out for me this time."
"Bye, Maximillian," Emily said as she hugged Max next.
"We'll be back soon, Emily," Max reassured.
"Bye, Claire," Emily said as she hugged Claire last.
"Bye, sweetie," Claire replied.
"Alright, let's go," Will said.
