Anelia sat up, stretching her limbs individualy. The sun still hadn't woke from its slumber, but she continued found her morning routine. After she dressed herself appropriately she walk out towards the upstairs sitting hall, taking in the architecture she has seen thousands of times, then walking outwards to her balcony. She took a deep breath. And staggered, and fell forward, flipping over the rail and falling, landing with a dull thud 3 stories below, blood soaking her dress.
Slowly the sun wakes from its slumber.
The Great Queen is dead.
Anelia, the 1st queen of Lerouiche Empire.
These words were printed on the large headstone that stood infront of the palace, along with a picture of the queen herself. That fateful day, Anelia had been shot from behind, to this day, nobody knows who killed her, but her legacy is told through multiple journals and oral stories passed from family or workers who lived in that palace. Her case is still open for public viewing at the memorial in her honor.
