Before we start with the story, I would like to give a BIG thank you to you for clicking on this book. Even if you won't be voting or commenting on the chapters, the mere fact that you are reading them already means a lot to me. (I'd still appreciate votes and comments though IF and ONLY IF you like my story.)
Anyway, this is my first go in writing something horror-themed or mystery-themed. If it sucks, it sucks. The cover is made by me btw. The renders of some of those people took me forever. I still hope u like it. lol.
So, most of you know that I published an excerpt of an upcoming novel last, last, last month--last year. The DOTA2-themed excerpt featuring Templar Assassin a.k.a. Lanaya? Yes, that one. Guess what, this is NOT the novel that connects to that excerpt. Surprise, surprise. Sorry, readers. I have failed you. But no worries, because that upcoming novel is still on the works. I already made two chapters! (Only two chapters? Yes. After all this wait? Yes.) The chapters are REALLY long and VERY futuristic. Hoverboards, BitCoins, Helper Robots, Sunscreen apps, Heart Regulator apps, Holograms, etc., everything futuristic, you name it, it's there. (Oops, spoilers alert.) I just really want to concentrate on my draft plot though because I want this story a bit 'scientific' whatsoever. It's a good excuse for me to procrastinate on wattpad while I memorize math formulae.
Anyway, this particular book will also be covering a lot of things I'm currently learning as an engineering student. Welcome to my boring world. If it gets too geeky at times and you can't handle that bit of a tinge of geek, then please leave. Please go back to your cheesy romance novels. LOL JK. I love you, don't leave.
I just want to tell you that this novel means a lot to me. It may seem like a teen angst kind of book but this is something that took a lot of my courage to publish. Constructive criticism is very much welcome as long as you have RESPECT.
Without further ado, go and read chapter 1. :) (Btw, in the first few chapters, nothing really dark is going on. I'm sorry.)
PS: This story contains mature language and scenes of violence (and probably, sex.) If these make you uncomfortable, then I guess this book is not for you to read. :( YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
PPS: Also, I can assure you that no engineering student nor engineering professor were harmed in the writing of this book. (Lol.)
