Chapter 14

When I wake up I get dressed and put my hair up in a bun. ( Picture shown above ) I get dressed and go to the dining hall for breakfast.

I get in line and grab a yogurt parfait, a muffin, and a cup of milk. I look for Tobias but he isn't here but I do see Christina and Uriah so I sit next to Uriah who is currently trying to stack blueberries on the table.

" Hey Tris, watch this, my record is seven blueberries! " he says sounding very excited. " Wow! " I say matching my tone with his. As of now he has reached three blueberries going on to four as I start my muffin. " Five! Six! Seven! Eight! Nine! " he says as he adds one each time. I wonder where he is getting all these blueberries because they do not offer them separate. Just as I finish that thought I look down and realize that he is taking them from my parfait.

I can't help but laugh that I didn't notice before. Just as he adds the twelfth berry the whole tower knocks down sending the berries tumbling to the floor. " FIVE SECOND RULE! " Uriah screams. " Knock yourself out. " I tell him. I am not mad that he took my berries because I don't even like them that much anyway.

When he grabs them off the floor Tobias comes walking in the dining hall towards out table. As I wait for him to come I watch Uriah putting a berry in each nostril then shooting it out. Christina and I laugh so hard we are crying. Tobias sits next to me and soon starts laughing with us as we watch Uriah.

" Nice hair. " Tobias whispers in my ear, making me shiver. " Thanks. " I say as I feel the heat rushing to my cheeks. I love my life here in Dauntless, I wouldn't give it up for the world.
