Each of the teams launched themselves into their kayaks. Unfortunately, Honey Booboo and Lala were unable to get very far, as Honey Booboo's weight was a major problem. Their kayak started filling up with water and sinking. They ran back on to the island to attempt to fix their kayak, to no avail.
"What are we going to do?" Cried Honey Booboo.
"Well, you could lose some weight." Lala said in the nicest way possible.
So Lala set up an intense exercise regime for Honey Booboo. She rolled boulders across the sand, ran a cross country marathon, did 68 squats and lifted heavy branches. By the end of all that, she had managed to lose 4kg.
That 4kg made all the difference! They were now able to start kayaking. The only problem was, they were miles behind everyone else, and Honey Booboo was unable to kayak because she was so tired.
The other teams were of to a raging start. Hulk and Genie were in the lead, with Iron Man and Alice not far behind. Leo and Harry were about a boat length behind them. They were followed by Sharpay and Deadpool, then Elmo and Hermione, then Anthony and Cookie Monster. The Yellow Team was but a mere speck on the horizon.
The race was now truly underway.
