Shawn Mendes:
We laid in the same position for hours, it was perfect. We watched Alice's favorite show 'Lost' and my favorite, 'The 100'. Alice fell asleep soundly with her head on my chest, and soon woke up. "Shawn?" She groaned, "I'm hungry." She looked at me with puppy-dog eyes. I rubbed my eyes and stretched. "Do you want Starbucks?" I asked. She nodded quickly in response.

Her hair was all messed up, but she still tended to look beautiful. I grabbed my phone and checked the time, 3:30. "It's almost the end of the day and we have not accomplished anything." I laughed. "Yes we have. We finished half a season of Lost and a whole season of The 100, don't play dumb with me." She sassed me. I was only wearing joggers so I went to go put a shirt on.

I put on a white v-neck and slipped on my vans. I came out of the bathroom and noticed Alice's hair was fixed up into a bun. "I look like shit." She sighed. "You look great for just a trip to Starbucks. Come on let's go." I opened my front door as we walked out. I opened the car door for her and walked to my side. I pulled out of the drive way as we drove to Starbucks.

Alice plugged her phone into the AUX chord and played her favorite song 'Like I can' by Sam Smith. She looked out the window and quietly sang, still, me being able to hear her without her knowing.

He could be a sinner, or a gentleman
He could be a preacher when your soul is damned
He could be a lawyer on a witness stand
But he'll never love you like I can, can

He could be a stranger you gave a second glance
He could be a trophy of a one night stand
He could have your humour, but I don't understand
'Cause he'll never love you like I can, can, can

Why are you looking down all the wrong roads?
When mine is the heart and the salt of the soul
There may be lovers who hold out their hands
But they'll never love you like I can, can, can
They'll never love you like I can, can

A chance encounter of circumstance
Maybe he's a mantra keeps your mind entranced
He could be the silence in this mayhem, but then again
He'll never love you like I can, can, can
Why are you looking down all the wrong roads?
When mine is the heart and the salt of the soul
There may be lovers who hold out their hands
But they'll never love you like I can, can, can
They'll never love you like I can, can, can

They'll never love you like I can, can, can

We both have demons, that we can't stand
I love your demons, like devils can
If you're self-seeking an honest man
Then stop deceiving,
Lord, please

Why are you looking down all the wrong roads?
When mine is the heart and the salt of the soul
There may be lovers who hold out their hands
But they'll never love you like I can, can, can
They'll never love you like I can, can, can
They'll never love you like I can, can, can

Alice Mirabella:
I sang my favorite song quietly but quickly, got louder. I get embarrassed when people hear me sing, even Shawn. But I still put so much fun and passion into my favorite songs. After the song ended, the car ride was silent for a moment. "That was amazing." Shawn smiled. I looked down and smiled a little, not knowing what to say. "You shouldn't be embarrassed that you can sing, you have a beautiful voice." Shawn put his hand on mine.

"Thanks." I courage myself to say. Shawn drove into the drive through, "I would like a vents Iced Green Tea and she would like a venti Caremel Iced Coffee, oh and two birthday cake CakePops." Shawn told the man in the microphone. Shawn always knows my order. It never gets old. The man handed our order through the window as Shawn handed my coffee to me.

"We're going to have fun today!" Shawn yelled in the car. "Shawn shut up there are people staring." I laughed. "I don't give a flying fuck now let's go have fun!!" Shawn yelled louder. His green tea gets him hyper for the day. We rapped to Eminem as Shawn drove to my house.

We pulled up to my driveway and walked up to the porch. "Go put on a bathing suit, and bring an outfit. You can bring your sister, I'm bringing Aaliyah. I will be back in 30 minutes." He gave me a hug and drove off. I chuckled and walked inside. I went into Sophia's room to check on her. I told her I would. E with Shawn for a little bit today, so she said she would just watch Netflix. So there she was, watching Netflix.

"Hey Soph," I smiled. The only lights that were on we're her white Christmas lights, so her room was pretty much dark. "Do you want to hang out with Shawn, Aaliyah and I today?" I asked. "Better than here." She laughed. "Bring a bathing suit and something to wear after." I said and went into my room. I put on a white triangle bikini and slid on a yellow dress.

I feel like tonight will be special.
