Alice Mirabella:
The next day I wake up and the sun is trying to come through my window. I open the blinds and make my bed. The feeling of forgetting everything when you first wake up is great, until reality hits you. I think of everything that happened last night. My missing father, death of others, Shawn comforting me.

I feel a tear slide down my cheek as I wipe it away. I go to my closet to pick out an outfit for school. I pick out some black jean shorts and a white adidas shirt. I slide on some flip flops and head towards my bathroom. I do my usual routine and go eat breakfast.

"Good morning Sophia," I say as I grab a donut from the pantry. She didn't respond. "Look I know you're upset about dad but we need to be strong." I put a hand on her shoulder. "I'm going to go to school, think you can handle going too?" I slightly smile. She nods, but doesn't look at me. I kiss her head and wait for Shawn to pick me up.

     I see a black jeep pull into the driveway and see Shawn's hand waving outside the car window. I give him a smile and get in the passenger seat. "I'm sorry for what happened," Shawn gave me a comforting smile. I just nodded. I feel a pair of warm lips slowly hit my cheek. They stay there for a few seconds and then go away.

     I look at Shawn who looks like he's trying to keep the biggest smile away as he drives. I smiled at his face. He looked at me, "what?" He chuckles. "You're cute. Hiding that big ol' smile away from me." I smile. "Well I can't help it. I like you." The ride was silent after that.

     We arrive to the hell hole called school and get out of the jeep. I walked close to Shawn as we at least tried going inside. I tried to avoid everyone that was looking at us and hope that I didn't get an insult. But my hopes were given up. "Hey you little bitch, did your boyfriend defend you from Bryce?" The little whore that is surprisingly Bryce's girlfriend said to me.

"He's not my boyfriend." I took a step closer to her. "You better back the fuck off of me because I have enough problems going in my life. You probably go home everyday and think you will get banged by your little fuckboy of a boyfriend. So if you think I'm your little joke then think again, I could be your nightmare." I turned around as me and Shawn started walking into the school.

     "Damn, Alice is a badass." Shawn punched my should playfully. I couldn't help but to smile, seeing him smile lights up my world.
