Chapter 20:

I love him. How could I just leave him? . I thought to myself as I cried staring at Leo's picture. Mom would never understand me. How could I not talk to him. He was my everything. Mom kept checking on me. She had never taken so much time out from work before. Now she comes home early so she could spend time with me and so that I don't end up sobbing .
It's not like I did not love spending time with Mom. But I missed him too...
It had been three days. Mom had taken away my phone and I could not even tell Leo what was going on. I really missed him . I did not even know if I will ever meet him again. My entire social life had been cut out. Tomorrow was Amanda's birthday, I hoped mom would let me spend some time with friends at least .

I heard the door bell ring . I ran up up to the door but mom stopped and opened the door. Amanda ran and hugged me . "Hey baby , how are you and whys your phone switched off?" , she asked. My mom gave her an unwelcoming smile. "Aunty can I burrow Jules for today. Tomorrow 's my birthday. Pleaseeee." , she begged my mom. My mom looked astonished, "I'm not sure, we might be going out ", she said with a fake smile. I frowned. " Come on mom please, just let me go. It's one night out with my girlfriends, please.", I said and Amanda joined "Please , please, please just one night.", with the puppy dog face. No one could say no to her puppy dog face ." Fine , go enjoy " mom said trying to put up a smile.

"What the fuck happened to you, why on earth is your phone switched off since three days.", Amanda shouted as we drove away. "I will tell you, but first I need to meet Leo." , I said as a tear rolled down my cheek. "Are you fucking kidding me. Okay fine just don't cry , I'll take you to him. He's at home with Blake." The drive was quiet. I just couldn't wait any longer, I missed Leo a lot.

At Amanda's House.

Leo and Blake were sitting on the couch talking to each other. Leo seemed pissed. " She hasn't returned any of my calls since three days. I miss her so much. What the fuck is wrong with her. She knows how pissed I get when she avoids me." , I heard him speak.
I ran up to him and hugged him, tears kept rolling down my eyes." Leo I'm so sorry, I love you. I have missed you so much.", I kissed him. He pulled away . " Stay away from me. ", he said. His eyes were furious and red. I knew he was pissed. I made him sit and explained what ever had happened so far . Tears rolled down his face too. He hugged me tight. "Promise me that you will never leave me." , he said. "I won't baby, never . But you need to understand that I won't be able to call you or meet up with you as I did before.. He frowned again. I pulled him closer and kissed him on his forehead.

We stayed up the entire night giggling making jokes. Amanda and Blake were inseparable . I just held on to his hand and did not let go the entire time.

It was 12:00 . "Happy Birthday Amanda " , we all shouted in chorus. Smashing cake on each other's face was best. There was literally no cake left . "Jules don't worry you can lick away all the cake from my face .", Leo said as he traced my cake laced lips with his tongue, and we kissed.. Kissing had become one of my favorite and most frequent hobby when I am with Leo. We did not sleep the entire day. Lily and Ashley tried their best to scare us, but failed at it miserably.

It was 6am by the time they fell asleep. Leo and I were still awake. I was holding his hand , too afraid to let go. "Once I get back home, it will be like prison again ." , I said with a frown. " Is there anyway I could talk to your parents about it ? I can't stay away from you love. You mean a lot to me." , he said as he pecked my lips. "College?? Have you thought about it yet?? " , I asked. " Yes, yes I have. Lets move to California, you could do medicine and I could finish my architecture too. We won't be in the same college but at least we could live together." , he said. "I don't think it's so easy to convince my mom but let me try, I shall let you know." , I said.
