Chapter 1 ~ The Song

~Eva~

I walk out of my apartment tears falling down my face. 

"Eva!" Jack yelled. "Eva wait!" 

I stopped. 

Slowly, I turned on my heel. "What Jack?" 

"Can you let me explain first?" He asked. 

"Why do I want to hear something that the story changes every time you say it?" I said.

"Eva, please. Let me explain." He said.

I sighed, "The truth?" 

He nodded, "Nothing but the truth." 

I stood there and motioned for him to continue.

"I swear I didn't mean to cheat, Mason made me." He said.

"How did Mason make you cheat?" 

"He told me the girl was wanting 'something'. I didn't know he was gonna make me drunk." He said.

"He kept giving me drinks and then I woke up to you screaming and the girl jumping out the window." 

"But you were aware of her being in our  bed and wearing my clothes." I said.

He smirked, "Yeah." 

"Wow, Jackson. That's low. I'm leaving." I said.

He didn't stop me as I put everything in my car.

"Bye Jackson." 

I watched him walk away as I got into my car. 

I threw my phone in the front seat, wiped my eyes, and put my key in the ignition.

 As soon as I started my car, the radio started playing softly. 

I turned it up because it's a song I've never heard before. 

"Torn in two, And I know I shouldn't tell you but I just can't stop thinking of you. Wherever You Are, You. Wherever you are, Every night I almost call you just to say it always will be you. Wherever you are." 

No it can't be...Is it? No, It can't...but it can..It is...

It's them.

I sat there feeling myself smile a little. 

I turned up the radio to max and started to drive. 

Once the song finished the radio host named the song. 

"Hey! That was 5 Seconds Of Summer's Wherever You Are! We're gonna have the boys on in a few so while we're waiting, Call in some fan questions or call while we're on the air. Stay tuned you're listening to 93.4 Nova Red." 

I'm gonna call in. Why?

I have a feeling that song is about me and I'm gonna find out.

I stopped at McDonalds and bought some fries and a coke. 

I grabbed my phone ready to call them while they were on the air. 

"Okay listeners! We've got the 5SOS boys here, and we're gonna take your questions!" The radio host said. 

"Yes! Call in!" One boy said. I dialed the number and soon it was answered. 

"Hey love! You've called into Nova Red for a question to the boys. Tell us your name hon."  

I took a breath. 

"My name is Eva Green." 

"Hey Eva!!" 

"Eva, I have a question for you." A boy asked.

"Okay." I said.

"Are you Australian?" He asked.

"Yes. I grew up in Sydney, Australia and I'm staying in L.A. right now." I said

"Wow. What's your question love?" Another said. 

"Oh, What or who inspired your song, "Wherever You Are"?" I asked

"That's a good question." 

"We actually wrote that song when we lived in Sydney. There was this girl we met and she was cool. She had to leave and we didn't want her to. So we wrote that song because we haven't had any contact with her since that." 

"Yeah, We hope to get back in touch with her." 

"Well, thank you for the question love!"

The line went dead. 

I'm not completely sure it's me but it could be. 

Since I left Jackson, I'm gonna need somewhere to stay. 

I pull up to a hotel and check in. I only put some clothes to keep me for tonight. 

I came out to go back to my car when I realize I'm on the floor.

I look up and see a dark skinned bot standing over me, "Are you okay?"

I nodded, "Yeah. Fine." He smiled and helped me up. 

"I'm Calum." 

"That name sounds familiar. I'm Eva." I said.

"Really? Yours does too." He said.

"I better get going." I said.

"Cal? Come one our rooms are further down!" A very bright colored haired boy said.

"Guess I have to go as well." He laughed.

"Bye Calum." I said.

"Bye Eva." He said.
