My name is Melody Moon. I'm an eighteen year old girl who is suffering from depression and anxiety. I have long ombre hair and silverish green eyes. I am really short and is about 5'3. I have a could of facial piercings and a tattoo that says "Stay Strong" on the side of my middle finger. Mostly everyone around me makes my life even harder.
I cut... I cry... I'm suicidal. I have trust issues. And most of all, broken. I have a past. My step-dad is a huge alcoholic who does nothing but drink and abuse me behind my mom's back. He always comes home drunk every night. My mom is mostly never home because she's always busy with her job, and always busy to know what is actually happening to her own daughter.
I'm usually home alone and I can't wait to graduate. I could finally move and get out of this hellhole. Nobody really understands me and cares about me except for my best friends, Emily and Alyssa. I don't think I would be alive today if it wasn't for them. They've been my best friends through thick and thin. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have known what to do. I've tried so many times leaving this world, and Emily, Alyssa, and my mom are pretty much the only people that make me happy. They were the reason I hung on.
If there is this one thing I don't understand, it's how people can tell someone to go kill themselves and carry one with their day like nthing happened.
I'm weak. No one to protect me. And who knew that one boy could change all that.
