Sehun's POV:
It was a nice afternoon, after all it was my day off. Work seemed like a routine. Of course it was since I've lived my life all through it. After all, I was the heir.
My older sister, Chorong has set her life out of our business but~ the family understood. They wanted me to go over our business as I was the only grandson. They believed that men should carry on the family business.
I knew everything from the ins and outs of my company so everything came easy. Somehow, I've lived my life knowing it.Since today was my day off, I was driving towards Hayoung, my childhood friend.
Remembering our childhood, it seemed funny. It didn't seem like the usual:The boy protects the girl from the bullies. In our case, Hayoung protected me from the bullies. I was this fragile, rich child before, making me an easy target for them.
I was thankful for Hayoung because of that, at least I didn't have a lot of bad memories of our childhood because of that. I remember how we almost shared everything as children. That meant even our relatives. Grandfather specifically.
That's how we became friends; those days after that. . .
Soon our families, became friends as we both were. Only to find out, we were both the heirs to our own companies. I, in an airlines company while she was a hotel heiress.
Sometime after that, our families became business partners.Just the very reason why I was heading to Hayoung's company right now; and also to let her accompany me to pick a suit for that ball.
She would usually ridicule what I wear so I from now on, I thought I'd be bringing her with me so she would stop giving me those lectures on clothes.
I was suppose to hand her invitation to our company's celebratory ball for its anniversary. That was the main reason but I guess~ I need a stylist for the ball. The idea of the party seemed lame for me but still, Appa and Omma wanted it.
I hated parties but for business opportunities I thought or at least I would resist the annoyance in it. I had young businessmen and probably some ladies to be my company.
.
.
.
.Soon I arrived at my destination. I parked my car and hopped off from it with my phone in my left hand and the invitation in the other.
I dialled to Hayoung's secretary to see if she was there because if she wasn't then ~what a waste.
"Good afternoon, this is Ms. Lee of Sapphire Hotel. How may I help you?"
"Ms. Lee, this is Oh Sehun speaking, is Hayoung there?"- I asked on the other line.
"Yes, Ms. Oh is in her office. Would you like to set up an appointment?"- She asked.
"No, I don't need to set up an appointment. I'll just be handing something to her."- I answered.
"I'll inform Ms. Oh of your cal-"
"No need. I want to surprise her."- I cut her off. Sometimes, I consider barging in and being a surprise was just quite fun.
