"I'm coming over tonight." Michael invited himself over. "I'll be there at six."
"Oh," I said with my eyebrows raised. "Okay, uh, I'll see you then?"
He didn't respond. He hung up. I sighed and set my phone down on the glass coffee table. Does he ever realize I might have a life?
The time being 5, I jumped in the shower and prepared myself for tonight. I was ready for Michael when he arrived - an hour late.
"Hi darling." He greeted and pressed his lips to my forehead, I smiled sheepishly.
"Hi Michael." I said like an innocent school girl.
Michael smirked, and moved his lips to my neck, a fire starting in my abdomen. He fingers went to the zipper on my jacket and he tugged it down.
Then, his phone starting ringing and I frowned. He pulled away and answered. "Hello?" He asked with an angry tone.
I watched him while biting my lip and my arms were crossed over my chest.
"Shit." He said, his eyes flicked to me. "Okay, fine. Yeah, I'll be there." A wave of disappointment crashed over me as I regularly did with Michael.
"Sorry darling, I gotta go. Got important business to take care of." He said making me frown more.
"Fine." I spat.
"Oh don't be that way baby." He said and kissed my forehead. "I'll talk to you later." He turned on his heel and left my apartment.
What the hell is so important? I'm gonna find out.
