"I love you, Yuu-chan. I promise, we'll find each other no matter what. I'll come back for you."

Those were the words. The words that shined the light of hope to the young ravenette's dimming life. The words that made him believe the blonde would come back, never leave him, take him and live with him, be together all the time, be inseparable. But no, the promise was not fulfilled. He never saw the other's sparkling sapphire eyes and ear to ear smile again. He has stopped hearing the "rise and shine, Yuu-chan's" and "good night, sleep tight's" ever since his best friend got adopted and taken away from him.

Those moments when he surprises him with huge hugs; those moments when he teases him; laughs at him-all those things sure quite annoyed him, yes, yet he can't deny the fact that he also loved it at the same time.

It happened again-he had loosen his grip to the person whose important to him, whom he valued so much, whom he loved. Just like how he lost his parents, all of a sudden waking up in the middle of a very unfamiliar surrounding finding himself all alone and abandoned by his beloved guardians, thrown away like some piece of useless garbage as he tilted his head up and stood in front of a door.

Luckily, someone had a heart of gold and took him in, which is their known director, and welcomed him to the Hyakuya Orphanage and orphans; his new family.

No, he didn't think anybody would want to befriend him. After getting abandoned, he had lost his confidence, friendliness, and cheerfulness as the young child he was, due to his fear of getting extremely hurt again, so broken that he thought it may cause him his death. He wanted to be alone and get through this himself.

But someone, a certain someone taught him to never give up. Someone who taught him to have hope, not be afraid, there's always another chance-lots of people are surrounding him who are ready to give him all the love he deserves; all the love he never felt; the support. Yes, the hyakuya orphans did helped him to recover from the pain of the past, but the person who contributed the most help was Mikaela.

No matter how selfish Yuichiro gets, no matter how moody he acts towards the other orphans, Mikaela did not hesitate to take a step forward and cross the line of Yuu's space and give him a hug without giving his complains a taste of care. It was one of the things he admired so much about him despite his incredibly amazing looks and gentle personality.

It felt like he was starting to develop something inside of him. For some reason, he felt anxious whenever the boy comes near him;his heart races and his face heats up, but decided to ignore the strange feeling thinking he's way too young for these anyway.

Mikaela's embrace was tight but comforting, the way he grips his hand when they walk or play, it was as if Mika never wanted to let go, and thinking about it makes him regret not tightening his own.

He shouldn't have had let Mika walk away after a wave of his hand. He should have had done something when he saw the young blonde almost kneeling down in front of the director, pleading and begging her to cancel everything and let him stay with his Yuu-chan. Thinking if he had helped, it would work on her considering she loves to spoil the children. But no, instead, he stood there, watching as mika did, unable to move or function.

Sure, several orphans were left with him, but it did no help. He had to admit, they weren't that close to him as to why he only clung to Mikaela as time passed by. After playing with him for a while, something will always catch their attention and leave him there, staring at the incredibly energetic children as they spun around and chase each other, with him smiling his loneliness off from afar.

And of course, he would always expect those slender arms of his snaking their way to his torso and wrap around him. Nope, nope, he's gone now. He shouldn't expect because he knew it would just upset him further.
