Part 6

Nicole's POV 

I was quiet.Stefan drove me back home.I was an hour with Damon and he wanted to tell me something,but Stefan stopped him.He came from the woods.Something was wrong,what was Stefan doing in the woods alone,when people are being killed near it.

Was he responsible for the killings,was that what Damon was trying to tell me,that his little brother killed those people?Was he trying to warn me?I felt scared,and I could swear that Stefan felt the same cause he looked at me.

-Eyes on the road-I told him,trying hard to cover up how scared I was.

He smiled.Soon we came to my house.The lights were on,Aunt Jenna was probably waiting for me.I walked out of the car not even looking at Stefan.I entered the house.

-Nicole?-I heard aunt Jenna calling my name from the living room.

-It's me-I answered-I'm going to bed-

My voice cracked a little at the end,but luckily aunt Jenna was watching an action movie and she didn't hear that from some kind of explosion.

I walked to my room.When I turned on the lights I almost screamed.Damon was sitting on my bed.

-How did you get here before us?-I asked him.

-That's what I was trying to tell you before my brother interrupted us.-He said slowly.-I'm not like any other human being Nicole...I...I am a....vampire...I'm a vampire-

Was this some kind of a joke,vanpire's don't exist.

-Are you drunk or something?-

-No Nicole-His eyes went black and I saw sharp fangs popping out of his mouth.In a second he was in front of me.-I'm a vampire,and so is my brother Stefan-

I was scared even more.This must be a nightmare,there is no way that vampires exist.

-And since I've met you,I wanted you,your blood,your body...-He whispered to my ear.-But I fell in love with you,and I don't want to hurt you now.that's why I told you.

He went to normal state.His eyes were no longer black and his fangs disappeared.I suddenly understood,the killings only two red spots on the victims neck,body's drained of blood,vampires...

-Nicole,I love you-He whispered.

-Who killed those people?-I asked,my voice was trembling.-The man under the bridge,the couple near the woods,Vicky...who attacked them?-

H looked at me-I did.-

I was scared.I remembered what Elena said to me"Never invite him in"

-Elena told me something,she told me never to invite you in,what did she mean by that?-

-A vampire cannot enter a house if he isn't invited in...-

-But I din't invite you...-I stopped,I did invite him,tonight when I went for my jacket I invited him in.

*Flashback*

9 pm came quickly and I heard knocking on the door.I opened them.He was also wearing black.It was a little windy outside.

-Maybe you should bring a jacket with you-He said looking at me with those beautiful eyes.

-Yeah sure come in don't stand out there-I said walking back to my room and taking a jacket.

*End of flashback*

A tear went down my face.Am I going to die now,will he kill me to protect his secret.

-I'm not going to hurt you Nicole,I want you to trust me...-

-You want me to trust when you killed those people,and you hurt Vicky...-

-I had to feed Nicole,I didn't kill Vicky and the couple...I didn't kill the girl on the guy and left the girl,someone else killed her.-

-Stefan...-I started but he put a finger on my lips.

-Stefan feeds of animals,it's blood but it isn't powerful enough.-He said.-He would never hurt a human.-

I wanted to tell him to leave,but I couldn't...even if he was a murderer I could see in his eyes that he loved me.But I had an exam tomorrow and I didn't need to fall asleep during the test.

-Can you leave now,please-I said.

He looked at me and nodded.He jumped out of the window.

I went to the bathroom to shower.Too much stress,I quickly got into my PJ's and went to bed.It was nice closing your eyes and falling into dreams where no vampire can hurt you.

Stefan's POV

I watched as my brother jumped out of her room.I couldn't see her in it,but I did hear her and Damon told her that we were vampires.I had to tell Elena.
