Chapter 22 - the end of the world


Luke's POV


"Higher, higher, higher STOP! Perfect," I shout up to Beau and James who are positioning the banner saying ' it's the end of the world party live it like it's the last day if your life. '

"Mmm it looks great Luke," Lilly whispers into my ear as she wraps her arms around my waist from behind me.

"Are you exited for tonight!" I smile

"yepp, the end of the world party is gonna be great!" She giggles.

"I know thanks to you! The place looks amazing how did you pull all this off?" I shout amazed.

"A lot of hard work and organising and who am I kidding a lot of stress haha like a lot i am still freaking out inside I'm sweating I mean can you blame me I've been running around like a mad thing all morning, I haven't sat down once! I can't wait for tonight! To just be able to drink and dance and let off some steam!"she shouts crazily.

"Err Lil, I think it's important that you sit down and take a break before you pass out!" I laugh sitting her down.

"Here, look through the folder me and Lilly and have a look at all the photos haha they're cute!" I say as I pass her my phone.

She smiles and puckers up for me, I give her a quick kiss before rushing off to help get the party ready.

"Hi Jai," I hear Lilly say I run back instantly knowing what the call is about and snatch the phone out of Lilly's hand.

"Hii Jai," I shout down the phone running away. Lily is probably really confused now but I don't want it ruined.


Lilly's POV

"Haha that was weird!" I laugh to beau as he sits down next to me.

"Haha," he laughs "how you doing though you ok? You looked pretty stressed before," he adds.

"No I didn't!" I shout defensively "oh yeah cause this doesn't sound like your stressed does it, BEAU IF YOU DON'T DO THIS RIGHT I WILL CUT OFF YOUR DANGLER AND FEES IT TO A LION NOW GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!!!" He laughs reminding me of what I said to him earlier.

"Oh, yeah sorry about that," I sigh

"It's ok, but seriously you ok, you didn't look too good before!" He asks

I sigh and grab his hand "feel how hot I am!" I say a bit louder than I meant to and slap his hand on my fore head.

"Gease Lilly you need to cool down," he shouts "I'm panicking something's gonna go wrong!" I sigh.

"Aaaw come here everything's fine!" Beau laughs as he pulls me in and hugs me.

I hold him tight and sigh. "Are you wearing that for the party?" Beau asks.

I am wearing skinny light denim jeans and black and pink ted baker flip flops with a plain white vest top.

I'm only wearing scruffy clothes because I'm running about putting up lights and carrying alcohol out of vans and stupid stuff like that.

"No," I shake my head "oh right, for what it's worth you still look pretty damn hot!" Beau laughs.

"Aaw thanks beau," I smile, I know he's only joking but it really has made me happy. Aaaw cute.

I pull away from the hug an feel my head again. Crikey I am hot.

"I'm gonna go and get you a drink!" Beau rushes off.

"Woooaaah!" I accidentally say. It's just Luke's really hot so he's just took his top off.

He looks so fit shirtless. Actually he looks fit always haha.

I can see the top of his Calvin Klein underpants sticking out the top of his baggy (yet tight fitted around the bum) denim jeans.

On his feat he is wearing white converse.

"Phwah!" I accidentally say as he turns around allowing me to get a glimpse at his sweating sexy upper body muscles, and his glowing six pack.

He's perfectly toned and tanned and is even sexier now he's sweating.

"Here," beau sighs sitting down next to me passing me a drink "mm smells nice what is it?" I ask.

"It's fresh mango juice and ice," beau says "aaaw thanks so much beau you're the best!" I say.

I take a huge gulp as I am boiling and also really thirsty. Haha plus I love mango juice.

"Better?" Beau asks "better." I answer gasping.

"Err guys a little help here," skip shouts over to us from the ladder he's standing on pinning up the silver fairy lights all by himself.

"I'll go, you stay here and cool off a bit, James come help me," beau shouts.

I smile and nod my head as I turn it back to Luke so I can watch him sweat and flex his muscles and bend over.

I take another sip of my mango juice before finishing it off and placing it on the side.

I run over to Luke give him a quick tiger/Eskimo kiss. "I can help now!" I offer immediately grabbing a box of beer and carrying it over to the other end of the garden by the open bar.


Luke's POV

Half an hour later - time: 12:30 (lunch time)

I look over at Lilly to check she's ok. She seems ok, she just seems really hot and sweaty aaw that's such a turn on.

"Dude!! You just let me fall! You were supposed to hold the ladder" James yells.

"Oh relax James you haven't broke anything!" I yell back. I give him my hand and pull him up.

I look over at Lilly again to see her fanning her self with her hand and breathing really heavily.

Aaw poor thing she's bright red. "I'm gonna take a break James!" I say letting go of the ladder. I can see James fall but I know he'll be alright so I just step over him. He's already fell twice another time won't hurt.

"Lil, you ok babe," I say placing my hand on her shoulder and gently kissing her on the cheek.

"Yeah fine babe," she sighs wafting her white vest top up and down.

"What've you had for lunch?" I ask, she ignores me and just carries on lifting heavy stuff with all the staff.

"Lil, you have had lunch haven't you?" I say firmly stopping her. She sighs and shakes her head "noo but."

"LILLY!! I care about you and I don't want you getting ill, I've only seen you take one break since half eight this morning and that was for about 10 minutes when you sat down with Beau!" I state "you need to take a break and have something to eat!" I continue.

"Luke, I know your only doing what you thinks best for me but seriously I'm fine, I'm not hungry, I'm just a little hot that's all," she sighs.

I roll my eyes and lift my hand up placing it on her head.

"Shit Lilly your burning up!" I yell "go and get a drink and something to eat!" I yell.

"Luke!" She yells. "Stop mothering me!!"

"I'm not mothering you I'm just!!!" I start before she tuts as storms away flicking her hair in my face.

I sigh and turn my sad as I watch her storm off.

Why does she do this? I'm only looking out for her. She knows that! And secretly she knows for her own health she needs a break.

Lilly stops in the middle I the garden randomly and puts her hand on her head. What's she doing? She stumbles a bit but she finds her balance when she grabs onto a chair next to her.

She puts both hands on the chair and starts to pant.

"LILLY!!!!!" Everyone scheme echoes running towards her.

It was just out of no where one minute she was walking the next she was on the floor. This is all my fault I should of just brought her a drink or a burger or something!


Lilly's POV

"Huh LUKE!!" I gasp as I sit up from my bed panting. "Ssshh Lilly don't worry it's ok, you're ok!" He whispers placing his hand on my shoulder laying me back down.

He picks up a freezing cold flannel and places it on my head. "This should cool you down," he says.

"What happened? Why did I end up here I err thought I was em I don't know I err," I stutter confused.

"You fainted, you had a temperature and you were working to hard on a thirsty and empty stomach, you fainted, everyone rushed over and we carried you here," he explains.

I don't really understand what he just said but his voice re-assures me.

He presses a glass of freezing cold water up against my lips, I take a sip and he puts it on the bed side table next to me.

"Wait what time is it!!" I panic.

"It's three o'clock and you are going to relax here while I bring you a nice fresh salad and another cold drink of juice, then everyone else and the staff will sort out the party while we watch a film or something then you can get showered and dressed and what ever other girly shit you do!" He tells me.

I smile and nod my head "I won't have time will I?" I croak, my throat is really dry.

"It's three o'clock and everyone will be here at half-past eight," he laughs as he presses the drink against my lips again forcing me to sip.

I nod my head and take my drink from his hand, Luke's right I should just relax.

I sigh and look at Luke in the eyes "Luke, what are we gonna do when I leave?" I quietly murmur.

Luke looks at me stunned he gives me a slight side smile "you've never asked me that, I've asked you, but you've never asked me," Luke whispers in disbelief.

"I know but I'm leaving tomorrow," I whimper.

"Just don't think about it," Luke whispers as he kisses me on the cheek, in a re-assuring way.


Luke's POV

**Time: 8:15**


"Ok, do I look ok?" Lilly asks me.

"Oh my just woah, like seriously wow I'm just you err hahot em just woah I'm like err haha pwah," I stutter.

Seriously Luke what was that "is that good? Please tell me that's good," Lilly smiles.

"Oh it's good," I smile, I grip her waist and bring her close to me "you take my breath away Lilly Anderson," I smile.

She giggles back and leans her head on my chest allowing me to kiss her forehead. She looks stunning.


Lilly's POV

I've curled my hair and have it half up half down with the half up bit slightly raised in a small quiff.

I'm wearing a beautiful peachy pink, shiny and sparkly lip gloss, a peach coloured blusher and a beautiful (in no way gothic) smoky eye in silver and black eye shadow.

I am wearing silver and light blue dangly flowery earrings. A matching necklace and matching bracelet with the promise ring Luke got me (which I am never taking off.)

I am wearing a short and tight boob tube dress that is white with beautiful light blue coloured tiny gems that travel in a line going all the way around me just under my breast.


(Haha Authors note :

It's like a white tight short boob tube, that just under your breasts has a line of small light blue coloured gems/studs that travel all the way around.)


I'm wearing a stunning sliver sparkly pair of high heeled designer shoes and a really pretty blue gemmed anklet around my foot.

Luke pulls out his phone and walks out the room passing it to one of the staff "can you take a pic of us two together please," he asks.

I assume the man said yes because he took the picture. Well more than one, he took one of us just smiling one where we're hugging and one with Luke kissing my cheek.

"Who's that text from?" I ask "I need to go and make a quick call wait right here!" Luke says before running off.

I sigh and have one last look in the mirror, I grab my silver clutch purse carrying my lipgloss and mascara in case I want to touch up and then my phone.

Actually, I might take a quick selfie for Instagram hehe, yeah I will.

I take one of me in the mirror showing my hole outfit and then one of just my neck upwards.

Soon enough Luke comes running in all exited. "Ok, I've had a Suprise for you and now I can finally show you!! Hehe come with me!" Luke giggles taking my arm.

I follow him to the front door and stand there waiting for the suprise.

"Hehe wait for a minute!!" Luke smiles. I nod and smile clutching Luke's hand. Joe walks past and burps. I look at Luke confused.

"Oh no not that I didn't bring you here to listen to Joe burp," Luke laughs "oooh haha phew," I giggle.

"Ooh now now hehe SUPRISE!!!" Luke shouts as the door opens.

"SUPRISE!!!" They shout as they walk in hugging me and Luke "AAAAAAAHHH!!" I scream with excitement "AAAAH!" Hannah joins in screaming with me.

We both jump up and down as we hug each other. "Hannah, how are you here?" I ask looking at her and Jai "she alway could come but we wanted it to be a suprise!" Jai laughs.

"Aaaaaaw," I smile as I toddle over and hug Jai.

"Hehe Luke," I giggle kissing Luke on the cheek.

"Ahaha I hear you weren't like that with beau and Rosie and Joe and so on!" Jai laughs "haha that different if they'd have surprised us today we'd be happy, you guys came to us at a party!" I giggle.

"Yeah, they came to us at our bedroom when we were getting off," Luke laughs in a bragging boyish way I roll my eyes at Hannah in a jokey way.

I wrap my arm around her and take her outside to the party. We have about 50 guests right now, we have 168 coming, haha it's only just 8:30 now though.

I spot Rosie and me and Hannah both start to scream as we run up to Rosie in our heels with our arms around each other and one arm out for rosie.

Rosie turns around and screams as she joins in our screaming girly group hug.

All three of us jump up and down in our heels still hugging, we giggle and smile clinking our heads together.

"AAAAAAAAAAAH!" we all scream even louder as Charlotte runs out of the porch door in heels with her arms out ready to join in the hug.

"AAAAAAAH!" all of us scream as we let her in "WE'RE ALL TOGETHER!!!" I screech at the top of my voice "I KNOW!!!!" Hannah screeches back.

"Aaaaw this is so great!" Rosie sighs jumping up and down.

"Aaaaw I love this!!" Charlotte giggles "hehe I'm gonna get us all a drink!!" I smile "i'll join you!" Rosie giggles.

We both link arms and run over to the open bar. "Hehe aaaw this is so great!!" Rosie sighs "aaaw I know isn't it!" I giggle.



Luke's POV

**Time: 8:45**


Wow that's a lot of guests we have 214 arrived. Aaaw I'm so glad Lilly's having fun with her friends!

"Hey Luke, up for a game if beer pong," my neighbour Daren asks me. "Yes now your talking!" I cheer excitedly "that's a yes by the way," I laugh.


*****(If you don't know what Beer pong is :

There is a table with a net on it (like a table tennis table) and on each side there are six cups filled with beer. A player stands on each side behind their cups.

There is a ping pong ball that you have to throw into the other persons cups. When it lands in their cups they have to drink the beer in that cup.

The aim of the game is to make the opposite player drink all their cups ad the person who's lost all their cups first loses.

The more of your cups someone's got the ball into meaning the more you have to drink makes it harder to get the ball into their cups because you become drunk through the beer.)*******

***15 minutes later***

"Yes you suck !!!!" I yell laughing at Daren "well, I maybe be druuuunk but you look like a horse hmm," he shouts back
storming off.

I'm not that drunk haha "wooahh!" I stumble. Maybe I am drunk.

"Lilly!!!" I shout "one sec babe," she giggles before turning around and talking to her friends.


Lilly's POV

"Hi," I smile giving Luke a kiss "hi, come dance," He smiles back taking my hand.

We both run over to the dance floor by the DJ. We both sort of jump up and down and as everyone's so drunk everyone starts dancing really sexually.

Haha whoops I kind of started off the dirty dancing about 10 minutes a go and everyone joined in whoops this party is no longer PG.

I turn so i have my back on Lukes stomach Luke holds my waist from behind me. I roll my hands through my hair as I wiggle my hips and my bum against Luke.

I close my eyes as Luke starts to kiss my neck from behind me, I carry on wiggling my hips and bum against Luke as he starts to move his lips faster against my neck.

I let out a slight moan from loving the sensation of Luke's touch. I don't care the music's too loud for anyone to hear everyone's too drunk to remember and I'm WAY too drunk to care.

Luke sucks even harder and for longer and I lift my hands up and reach them behind me.

I place my hands in Luke's hear still facing away from him and I bend my knees wiggling my hips bringing my hands down along his body before I wiggle my hips back up and being able to meet Luke's lips to my neck again.

I giggle as he moves his kiss slowly up to my chin. He puts his hands on my waist again and forcefully turns me around to face him.

We both giggle and Luke bites my bottom lip tightly and the fact that its Luke biting me means it just doesn't hurt I don't know why.

I close my eyes and breath heavily as he kisses my bottom lip alone. I lift one of my legs up and he holds it in his grip as he leans my back still kissing just my bottom lip.

I pant a bit an I don't care because I'm looking around and can see everyone doing the exact same thing. He wrest my right leg on his hip and wiggles his hip up and down so we are still dancing as we kiss.

I slowly start to kiss him back and he runs his fingers through my hair. Luke and I both start to breath really heavily."I think we should cool off, in both ways," I whisper into his ear.

Meaning we should cool off before we start having sex on the dance floor. "Good idea," Luke whispers back.

I drop my leg and we stop kissing, instead we just dance, still slightly dirty, just no where near as dirty as anyone else's dancing.

"HI LUKE!!!" Hannah giggles running over, I laugh at her stumbling in her heels "hi," Luke giggles I don't know why we're laughing we're as drunk as hannah.

"I got you a present!!!" Hannah laughs "what is it!!!" Luke drunkly asks exited. "TADAAA!" Hannah laughs as she points to me.

Luke's so drunk he actually falls for it and applauds her. "D'ya get it?" She giggles "yeaaah!" Luke replies laughing. Aaaw.

"EVERYONE!! IT'S TIME FOR THE UNDI RUN!!!" The DJ Shouts as the music stops. James and Daniel/Skip come round with huge buckets and let you put your clothes in.

"I still don't get the point in this game Luke?" I laugh "you're in your undi's that's the point!!" Luke giggles I roll my eyes in a jokey way.

I turn around facing my back to Luke and he un zips my dress for me. Whoops I have a love bite/hickie from when Luke was kissing and sucking my neck when we were dancing.

I slide my dress off keeping my heels on.

"You look hot!" Luke sighs "I know, your bra and knickers with heels make you look sooo sexy!!" Beau gawps.

Luke slaps him on the head playfully and I just giggle. I place my dress in the basket and the music starts again. "THREE! TWO! ONE! GOOO!" The DJ bellows.

I take Luke's hand and we both run we stumble a long with everyone as we're all drunk anyway. "Hahhaha!" I laugh.

We peg it to the other end of the garden. We're both the first ones to get there so we're in the lead, we follow the rules and both take one vodka shot and down it.

I screw my face up tightly as its so strong and start to run back again I can't find Luke because he's lost in the crowd everyone's caught up with us now as we're all recovering from the vodka.

We all stumble to the beginning end and take another vodka shot. People start falling. I fall into Beau an we both collapse on the floor. "OORRR!" Beau yells he really wants to win haha.

We both follow the rules and because we've fell into each other I have to stay on beaus back for the rest of the run, slowing us down.

I jump onto his back and he grips me under my knees, he sprints down the garden and we're neck and neck with most people who are all mainly on people's backs at this point. We continue running.

Suddenly the music stops! "WE HAVE A WINNER!!" The DJ shouts. "Ha hahhahahahaha it's Hannah and Rosie!!!" I laugh "aaaaaaw I feel so happy for them!!" I giggle to beau. They both win because Rosie was on Hannah's back.

The music starts again and Miley Cyrus we cant stop comes on. We all cheer as we giveHannah and Rosie kings chair.

Hannah and Rosie both start laughing giddily, aaw they're so cute. I wink at Hannah and Hannah gives me a really adorable side smile.

We both give each other an air high for before we both start cheering and dancing again.

"EVERYONE TWIRK!!!!!" Joe yells at the top of his voice.

I laugh and wiggle my bum along with everyone else twirking, I giggle and Beau slaps me on my bum.

"WHAT YOU PLAYING AT!!!" I hear someone shout, aaw no I don't wanna turn around, it's Luke isn't it, I bet it's Luke he's mad about beau slapping me on the bum, I bet he is, I bet it's luke!

It better not be and if so it better not be about that because It's just a bit of fun and he knows that!

I slowly turn my head squinting and what do you know yepp it's Luke.

"You just slapped Lilly's ass!" He screeches "Yeah so! She liked it!" Beau yells.

The music stops dead and everyone looks at us. I put my hand on my head covering my face, this is so embarassing!

"No she didn't look see she's embarrassed!!!" Luke yells "No she's not she's embarrassed about you!!" Beau yells back.

"She's not!!"

"Yeah she is at least I know how to keep my women happy!" Beau yells

"Oh yeah unprotected sex sure but they won't be happy a month later!" Luke screams. I know Luke's talking about Hannah and he's right! Hannah won't be happy for much longer when she finds out beaus had unprotected sex with her so now she's pregnant!

"WHAT EVER DUDE! AT LEAST I'VE HAD SEX!!!" Beau booms.

"I HAVE HAD SEX!!! ME AND LIILLY HAVE SEX ALL THE TIME!! WE'RE GOOD AT IT!!" Luke screams.

No way, Luke didn't just say that oh no everyone just heard that!!

"What ever! We were just having a bit of fun!" Beau shouts "yeah well you can't she's mine!" Luke yells.

I look at Luke angrily "oh she's yours is she!!" Beau yells. I grind my teeth and shake my head at Luke "yeah! She is!!! She's mine!!!" Luke ignores me and yells anyway.

"And I forbid you and her to see each other did you hear that Lilly I forbid you and beau to see each other!!!" Luke continues.

My jaw drops and I give Luke a really furious stare. I can't even look at him right now. Did he actually just say that?

Ugh he's such a jerk.

I turn around and storm off. I look for my dress in the basket and hold it in my hands as I storm away in my nickers bra and heels.



Luke's POV


"Where are you going?" I yell after her she turns around quickly "I'm packing!!!" She screams "do it tomorrow before you go!!" I yell "I would but I might as well do it now as I can't even look at you right now!! I AM FURIOUS" She shouts.

My heart sinks, it's like all the pain and hurt I've caused Lilly has just drained all the alcohol out of my system and made me lost every bit of my drunkness.

I feel so bad! Why the hell did I do that!

"TURN THE MUSIC BACK ON!!! EVERYONE CARRY ON YOUR FUN!!" I yell drawing the attention off me as I storm away from the crowd.





Lilly's POV

I shove everything into my suitcase scrunched up putting in no care I just throw everything in.

I hear a nock at the door, I ignore it and continue to throw stuff in my suitcase. I hear the door open and luckily it's Rosie and not Luke.

"hi," she quietly mutters sympathetically I give a slight side smile and reply "hi," back to her before grinding my teeth again and angrily chucking stuff into my suitcase.

"Here sit down let me do that," Rosie smiles. I silently look at Rosie and smile back. I lay on the bed and start to cry.

Rosie takes everything out of my suitcase and starts to fold everything for me. She's so sweet.

"I really thought, this party would be the perfect way to say goodbye," I sob "I know," Rosie sighs.

"You know we called it the end of the world party to make people live it like its the end of the world, like its the last day to live, because its my last day here with Luke so we have to live it as the last day of our time together!" I cry even more.

"I brought you some cake," Rosie sighs handing me some, I got the a piece with a Y on it.

We got a cake that says Y.O.L.O on it, (You.Only.Live.Once) "the Y.O.L.O thing was Luke's idea," I giggle.

"I know I've been getting on your nerves this week, I know you've wanted to spend your time with Luke but I really did mean well, I'm sorry," Rosie sighs putting the last bit of clothes in my bag and sitting down next to me hugging me tight.

"I'm sorry I made you feel unwelcome," I sob. Then our girl hormones get the better of us and we both start sobbing.

"I'm sorry!!!" I whimper "ME TOO!"

"I'm sorry, I laughed when you farted," I cry "I'm sorry I forced you to watch that horror film when we were 10!!" She cries.

"I'm sorry I got you scared when I told you it's a true story!!!" I whimper "I'm sorry you and Luke had a fight!" She cries.

We both sniffle and stop crying, "I've known Luke as Luke Brooks on YouTube," she sighs

"And I've known Lilly as Lilly Anderson as an independent person who's a great friend," she continues.

"But to know you two as a couple, is like being in the presence of something so unique something so good and so perfect," she continues as she holds my hand.

"You two both know you're in love," she smiles. She stands up and slowly walks out the room, quite dramatically actually.

As she walks out the door she yells something to me "I ship Lulle all the way!!!"




Luke's POV

I swing my feet as I dangle them off the edge off the tree house balcony. I look down on the party and watch everyone having fun.

I sigh and grab my red plastic cup of beer and take 3 large gulps. I look at all the lights and all the dancing. I stare at Hannah and Jai kissing. I had that.

"Everyone attention please!! This party is called The end of the world! So you were all supposed to live it like its the last night of your life! Now if you have or haven't done that that's your own fault! It's 30 seconds to midnight so when it come to it! We're gonna countdown from ten until the end of the world!" Beau yells as he stops the music and stands on the stage.

I turn my head as Rosie sits next to me an dangles her feet off the tree house balcony.

I stare out into the distance not saying anything.

"If it was the end of the world right now, would you really want to be here spending it with me," Rosie quietly asks, I shake my head and say "with Lilly."

"But you're not are you?" She whispers.

I grab my beer and throw it off the edge. I look down on everyone and close my eyes. I want to be with Lilly I'd rather be with her when the world ends. Why did I mess things up?

Everyone starts shouting at the top of their voice,

"10.. 9.. 8.. 7.. 6.. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2..1..."

Rosie turns her head and looks me in the eyes "It's the end if the world Luke, What are you gonna do!"
