Sugawara gently lowered his coffee mug on the table, his eyes glued to the cook book in his hands. He yelped when he felt the slight burn from his coffee spilling onto his hand and dropped the book immediately, paying attention to his mug now. He breathed a sigh of relief as he was able to prevent himself from making a huge mess.

While washing his hands, he heard a soft muffled cry from the bedroom. Chuckling to himself, he headed to Tanaka's room where the toddler was finally awake. The toddler was tangled in the sheets, forming a large burrito in his bed.

Tanaka let out a whine as he struggled with the sheets, trying to free himself. Sugawara stood at the door for a moment, laughing lightly to himself at his son's adorable actions. He then proceeded to help his son tangle himself from the sheets, revealing a drowsy buzz cut boy with slight impressions from his bed sheets.

"Ohaiyo," Sugawara pulled his son into his arms, planting a loving kiss to his short hair. Tanaka wrapped his arms around his father's neck, snuggling close like a koala as Sugawara held him securely at his bottom.

"Slept well?" Sugawara asked, fixing Tanaka's bed with one hand. Tanaka nodded, tickling his neck. "That's good." Sugawara planted another kiss at his shoulder, earning some bubbly giggles. "Let's get washed up and we'll make some pizza, what do you think?"

"Piss-wa?" Tanaka echoed curiously, lifting his head.

"Souda yo. Pizza. You like pizza, right?" Tanaka nodded. "We'll be making pizza today."

"Yay! Pits-ha!" Tanaka cheered, pumping his tiny fists.

"But first we've got to wash up," Sugawara reminded.

"Right! Wash!" Tanaka nodded.

Tanaka sniffed at the bowl and cringed at the awful stench of the mixture of yeast, sugar and water. "Blegh!" He stuck his tongue at disgust, making Sugawara laugh.

"Does it smell good?" The father teased, putting the bowl in a safe distance away from his son. Tanaka shook his head in a strong no. "I guessed as much." Sugawara chuckled. "Hora, come sit here, Tanaka." He patted his lap, gesturing for his son to sit on his lap.

Tanaka climbed into his father's arms, comfortably sitting on his father's laps. Sugawara bounced him, lighting up the house with his adorable laugh. "You're going to help me to make the pizza today, okay?"

"Okay!" Tanaka raised his hand up zealously.

"Okay. First, we've got to make the dough." Sugawara explained, picking up the bowl with the yeast, sugar and water mixture in it. Tanaka reached his hands out to help his father as they poured the mixture into a bowl of flour. "Mix that up for me, Tanaka."

Tanaka did as he was instructed to, reaching into the bowl while standing on his father's lap. As soon as the mixture turned a little sticky, Sugawara gently added some water while his other hand helped Tanaka to mix as well. "Do you think we need more?" He asked his son, tilting his head.

"Yeah," Tanaka nodded, squeezing the dough in his hands.

"Alright, just a little more." Sugawara agreed, adding a little more water. Once the water was evenly mixed, he then removed the dough from the bowl and placed it on the flour coated board.

"Here's the fun part," He said, bringing sparkles to light in Tanaka's eyes. "We get to punch the dough."

"Yay!" Tanaka cheered, lifting his two fist into the air before smashing it down at the dough. A cloud of flour rose from his attack, dusting all over his face. Tanaka turned to his father in confusion, his face pale due to the flour. Sugawara couldn't help but to laugh as Tanaka blinked at him.
