I started walking around looking for an empty compartment, Sintars cage was up in a baggage rack but she was on my shoulder as a tiny owl. She wasn't talking to me but I didn't know what to say to her anyway, I just focused on finding a seat but they were all full.
'Just scare someone out of one then.' Sintar snapped at me. I frowned I didn't want to do that, I decided to just wander the corridors as sitting down on a moving vehicle didn't go well with my stomach anyway.
I wandered back n forth frowning as I thought to myself what it would be like living at Hogwarts, would people be nice to me? I barely noticed when Sintar huffed and flew up and away to hunt or whatever she wanted to do. I was a bit hurt though I could've used the company.
Quite suddenly all I wanted to do was curl up n cry I was trembling and I didn't watch where I was going, again.
I bumped into the tall thin girl from Diagon alley, I went cold inside she already saw my eyes before which I could feel glowing again. She wasn't alone however, a pale mean looking boy next to her snapped, "what do you think you're doing out here?" He glared at me, I whimpered glancing at the girl who was studying me closely. Her eyes widened slightly in recognition, "you're that girl from Diagon alley!"
I whimpered backing away from her, "I'm sorry" I whispered, casting my eyes downwards. I pushed past them trying to escape before I did something stupid, she flung out her arm and tried to grab me. I panicked hissing and I clutched her arm tightly, my claws making a slight appearance digging deeply into her flesh.
She gasped whimpering in pain, I let go quickly and ran the other way, I was seeing everything blurred I was scared I was losing control. I closed my eyes tightly clutching my hands to my chest breathing deeply whispering a Chant. "I'm gonna be a little girl, all the way home." I calmed down enough to glance back, the girl had gone into the compartment beside where I was, her friends that she was with were slouching my way, the pale boy muttering a stream of angry words. "Potter, and all his friends, my father will hear about this, why Violet wants to hang around them I'll never know.." He paused as he caught sight of me. A look of deep anger crossed his face, "Wait for me here," he hissed to the boys.
He stalked forward quickly, "hey you!"
I crouched down low, trembling. "Go away!" I yelped.
He stopped in front of me, "why're you wondering the corridors when there's other places you could be, and don't you ever hurt my cousin again do you hear me? Or you'll have us to deal with." He glared furiously at me, he nodded satisfied when I didn't answer but merely cowered under his fierce gaze.
I walked towards the compartment that the girl, Violet had gone into intending to apologise, but before I could a brown screech owl flew down from the open roof onto my shoulder. It ruffled it's feathers importantly and thrust out its leg which a scroll was attached to. I took the scroll frowning slightly, the owl took off back through the roof.
I opened the note wondering who would be writing to me already.Ila,
Due to your unique condition we have arranged a suitable dungeon in which you can spend your time alone. Your head of house teacher will show you where to go before our feast ends, I will nod at you when it is time to go. You will be excused from most morning classes so you may have time to fix yourself up, and you will not be subject to any teasing spells or hexes. You will be quite safe I assure you.
Professor Dumbledore.I smiled slightly, glad that I wouldn't be a danger to anyone around me. The train shuddered to a halt the lights flickering slightly. I glanced up and down the corridors, curious heads were sticking out to See what was going on. I started trembling, something didn't feel right, I started backing away ever so slowly towards the nearest compartment which so happened to be the one Violet was in, but I never got there. A wave of intense cold swept over me, I started shaking n yowling in terror, a dark heavily cloaked figure was advancing slowly towards me, I tripped falling down, I covered my face with my hands, yowling and whining, my fangs n eyes glowing with terror. The hooded figure, drew in a slow rattling breath, my belly clenched when I saw a rotting hand stretch towards the compartment.
I tried to scream a warning to them inside, but I was frozen.
All I could think, was my time in my dungeon, the pain of transforming. The face of the witch her cursed me, her long scraggly hair, her narrowed pale eyes.
I curled up into a tight ball, squealing softly. I wasn't sure how much time had passed, when a gentle hand touched my shoulder. I flinched hitting my head on the wall behind me and looked up into a kind but weary face.
"It's alright now, you're safe, it's gone." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small fragment of something brown. He held it out to me, I hesitated before taking it, looking up at him not speaking. Understanding crossed his face, "ah but you must be Ila, it's alright we will be at Hogwarts soon, eat that it'll help."
I closed my mouth eyeing the thin slab in my hand, "what is it?" I squeaked softly.
He frowned, "it's just chocolate, trust me it will make you feel much much better." He turned and walked swiftly away down the hall. I was left gaping at the chocolate in my hand, he returned to the compartment not long after, he was looking around but glanced swiftly at me, "I haven't poisoned it you know." Before he went inside.
I bit into it slowly, instantly I was warmed up from the inside.
