“Your sister?” Daniel repeated. I could only nod my head dumbly.
“I’ve missed you so much, Fey,” she told me earnestly.
“How did you end up being our job?”
“I’m getting married. My fiancé wanted to make sure I’d be safe while traveling from here to the Fourth Isle. I suggested your band here. When he heard that Freyla the Seeress was working with the band he agreed immediately and set about finding the band.”
“I can’t tell you how much it means to see you Elliana.”
“You too, Fey. It’s been so long. How have you been? You’re a rogue now,” she inquired. Daniel turned from where he was talking to one of the men to wrap an arm around me. I smiled up at him for a moment.
“I am. Oh, this is Christopher.”
“I’m Freyla’s husband,” he interjected.
“You’re married?” Elliana exclaimed.
“Not yet.” I elbowed him in the ribs. “Christopher, this is Elliana, my sister.”
“You know we looked for you for the longest time,” Elliana told me.
“I know. I didn’t want to be found. To keep you and Mom and Dad from finding me I used my visions. You have to know it was just to protect you.”
“I know. You’re my little sister, Fey. I know that you never to do anything without good reason.”
“Thank you. I really have missed you.”
“Hey, little sister, how do you know our job?” Brandon asked.
“How many times have I told you not to call me that?” I demanded, turning on him.
“Little sister?” Elliana asked.
“He’s our brainless goofball,” Daniel explained. “No band is complete without one.”
“Everybody, I’m only saying this once,” I called. Nine more heads turned to face me. “This is our job, Elliana. She is also my sister.”
“Your sister?” Peter repeated.
“You never told us you have a sister,” Dylan added.
“She didn’t tell us a lot of things,” Stephen said.
“Freyla, after I get married you have to promise me that you’ll come and visit. It’s been so long without you and you’re the only family I have left.”
