⚫LIAM'S POV⚫

Lexi and I finished shopping and after that we went to see a movie. By the time the movie was over it was dark and we were walking home since we lived on the same street.

"You know, even though I have known you less than a week I feel like I have known you for years." Lexi said looking up at me. I smiled down at her.

"I feel the same way." I said smiling

We made it to her house and said our goodbyes. I started to walk home when I heard footsteps. I turned around and saw no one.

"H-hello?" I asked nervously.

Nothing. I continued walking when I heard it again but closer. I whipped my head around to see 5 figures.

"Hey nerd. We missed beating you up" the figure said.

Crap it's Chris and his friends! They all walked over to me and circled around me. Chris pushed me on the floor and kicked me in the gut. I groaned.

"Too bad you don't have your little girl here to save you" Chris said punching me in the face.

"Now it's time for your punishment!" Chris yelled.

They started punching and kicking me everywhere. I glanced at Andrew who was just looking at everyone beating me up like he always does. He never really beats me up unless he's told to. He gave me a look of concern and regretfulness. He then mouthed 'I'm so sorry' but I didn't care. I looked down as they continued beating me. No matter how many times Andrew didn't beat me up with the others, I am not forgiving him anytime sooner.

A couple minutes later my vision starting getting blurry and I was getting weak.

"Guys, you are killing him. Maybe you guys should stop." Andrew spoke

"What the hell is wrong with you Andrew?! You are apart of this group for a reason! You are supposed to help us! Now stop being a wimp and come help us, OR ELSE!"

Chris shouted.

It soon went silent and I continued feeling punches and kicks as I passed out in the middle of the street at night.

⚫LEXI'S POV⚫

When I got home I ran up to my room and sat on my bed. Wow, what a great day. Liam is the best guy ever. I completely started zoning out about Liam until I heard screams and shouts outside. I walked to my window and didn't see a thing. I walked down stairs quietly since

Everyone was asleep. Well only my mum. My dad died in an accident when I was 14. That was the hardest time. My brother ran away after my dad died when he was 11. I got to my door and stepped outside in the cold air. I pulled my jacket closer and looked down the street where I saw a body laying in the middle of the road. I quickly looked around to see if there was anyone. I slowly made my way down to the figure laying in the middle of the road. As I approached closer I noticed who it was.

"Liam" I whispered to myself gasping.

I ran over to him and crouched down. He was bleeding on his face and his arms and legs had bruises. This was probably done by Chris and his friends. Ugh. I started to shake Liam by the shoulder lightly.

"Li, wake up its Lexi." I said while shaking him. He didn't wake up or even move.

"Liam, please" I whispered again. What if he's dead I thought. I checked his pulse to see he was alive but barley. He's dying! I looked around again to see no one. Everyone was probably asleep. The only thing that popped in my mind was, the hospital.

I picked Liam up but fell down because I'm not strong. I panicked and looked around for anything. Nothing, of course just my luck.

I managed to pick Liam up after a couple tries. I ran all the way to the hospital which was a good 6 blocks down but I ran as fast as my feet could take me. I made it to the hospital doors and bursted inside.
