Missing a Friend

Kira padded out of the med den leaving the other cats watching shade unconscious to see if he woke up. She got out of camp and padded around to a secluded area in the territory. She and Shade had been good friends and talked to each other every now and than and she trusted him when he made a risk that would help the clan. And know she saw her friend extremely wounded not able to move or speak to. She went to talk with Tsunami about what was going on and knew that he would feel a little bit of pity on shade although they weren't friends.

"It feels weird to not have him around to talk to" Kira said in a unsettled purr. "I know what you mean it's very weird not having Shade around" Tsunami in a understanding meow.a few minutes later after a long discussion about how different it feels not have another cat around Kira and Tsunami went to their dens and slept through the night with the thought in their minds "will he be awake in the morning?". The morning came and shade still didn't wake up. They started getting worried for him and kept coming and going each few hours to see if he was awake.

Days past and Shade still didn't wake up. But a few day before he slightly moved around like if he was still keeping himself alive. after the end of that same week most of the clan forgot Shade was still in the med den. Kira,Tsunami, and Aztec visited as usually in the morning after noon and night. they all sat around with willow watching to see if Shade woke up.

In the afternoon they started losing hope of Shade. They got Lunar Kitsune and Mizu in the med den in the afternoon to wait with them hoping he would wake up. one by one Mizu, Kitsune, and Lunar left the med den. It became night time and night time and time was up to wait for Shade. There was about to be a ritual of respect for Shade and they would release his corpse out in the territory. Minutes before the ritual Kira, Tsunami, Aztec and the rest of Shades friends and loved ones got to say their goodbyes to him. after everyone left they put their heads down in respect and they padded out of the den. Kira turned around almost out of the den and purred softly in a kind way "May starclan find a place for you". She turned forward and kept padding out of the den.

Moments before the ritual they brought Shade to highrock. Rocky started the ritual. "We have suffered a loss of one of our warriors,". "Shade was proud, strong, and confident, and was trusted by the clan". Rocky took a breath and purred respectively the end of the ritual. "He will be remembered by his bravery and for what he has done to help the clan". 

The deputy and co deputy Ivy and Blue carried Shade outside of camp and put him down by an oak tree. The clan cats paid there respects to Shade and went back into there dens to sleep ending the day. At dawn they heard a yowling sound of a cat and saw a cat limping in the darkness. Tsunami and Kira snuck close to the thought intruder there bellies almost touching the ground. They gave a glance to see the cat to make sure they don't mistake it for an enemy. "Looks like Tsunami is trying to spar me after a wolf attacked me". Kira and Tsunami's eyes widened to see Shade pad out of the shadows from the oak tree. Kira was filled with joy to see her friend came back.
