Jack POV
I groan as my alarm clock blares, bringing me out of my peaceful slumber. I lazily turn around and smack it, shutting it off. I then turn back around and cuddle into the warm/cold chest I had been snuggled into previously.
Wait a second.
My eyes shot open and I quickly look up to see non other than Mark.
"What the f*ck?!" I shout in surprise, trying to pull away. My efforts were pointless though, considering he had a strong arm wrapped around my waist.
I struggle a little more before I realize how pointless it is. I stare up at him in confusion. Nothing happened last night, right? All I remember is playing video games and then falling asleep, but that was in the living room. Did he bring me here? I was too busy thinking to notice that I was dozing off again. Meh, a little more sleep couldn't hurt..
I wake up about an hour later to an empty bed. I look around, confused. Was it just a dream? Did I just imagine him there?
I shake my head and slowly get out of bed, heading to the kitchen. What a weird dream...
As I enter the kitchen, the smell of bacon and eggs hits me and my mouth starts to water. Holy shite that smells good.
I look and see Mark cooking. Upon hearing my footsteps, he turns to me. "Good morning, Jack."
"Mornin'" I yawn out, sitting at the table and resting my forehead against it. I was still REALLY tired.
"Did you have a good sleep?" He asks, placing a plate in front of me.
"Yeah, thanks. I just had a weird dream though. How about you?"
He sits in the chair across from me, smirking slightly. "I slept fine."
After eating we talk for a bit, then, the doorbell rings.
"Be right back." I say, walking to the door. Mark followed me anyway.
As I open my door, I see a man in a black suit, sunglasses, and one of those weird earpiece things. He looks left and right, down the street, as if making sure no one was looking.
He hands me an envelope. "Thank you for your cooperation." And then he walks to a black car parked outside of my house. Then he's gone.
I raise an eyebrow. "What the hell?" I mutter under my breathe, opening the next envelope.
My eyes widen as I find $200 and a note. They weren't kidding.
I take the note and read it with Mark looking over my shoulder.
'Your next task will arrive in approximately three seconds.
Thank you for your cooperation.'I raise an eyebrow. Three seconds? How?
Suddenly, Mark says, "You have one new email."
I turn to him and he opens the email as a hologram on his chest. I read it.
'Task #1: Completed
Task #2: Bathe Your Google IRLInstructions:
To bathe your Google IRL, simply remove their clothing and place them into a warm bathe. Clean their body using the extra-sensitive towel we have provided in the bathing kit along with the shampoo, soap, and conditioner. Be extra-careful around the chest area. Once washed, use the larger towel provided in the kit to dry him.Thank you for your cooperation.'
My face flushed red as I finish reading it. Does this mean I have to wash a naked man that I only met one day ago?
F*ck my life.
I let out a little sigh. "Ok, Mark. We have another task. Just follow me."
I lead him to the bathroom and tell him to wait there as I got the kit. Sure enough, it had everything that the letter said it did.
I get back to the bathroom and move around Mark, starting up the bath. Once the bathtub was full, I turn back to him. "Alright, so... Um... Undress."
I quickly turn away as he does this without hesitation. Oh my god, why am I blushing so hard?! I'm not some kid, I'm an adult! Why am I making this so awkward.
"Jack." I jump as Mark places a hand on my shoulder. "Are you alright? You look awfully flushed."
I take a shaky breathe, knowing the man behind me was most likely completely naked. "Y-Ya, I'm fine. Just great into the bath."
He removes his hand from my shoulder and I here the water slosh as he steps into the bath. Mustering up all my courage, I turn to him.
Oh god I regret it.
My blush deepens as I get an eyeful of his muscular, toned chest, and some... Other... Things.
I mentally slap myself. Stop being a pervert, Sean!
I walk over and kneel next to the tub, reaching into the kit and pulling out the washcloth and soap.
I dip the cloth into the water then dab on some soap.
Struggling to keep myself from just sprinting out of the room, I slowly start to wash his chest. I was trying as hard as I could to not look him in the eye, but it was hard when he was just staring at me.
I washed his chest, arms, and legs, trying to avoid his.. Area...
"Sit up." He does as I say and I wash his back.
Once done with that, I put away the soap and washcloth and bring out the shampoo and conditioner.
I rub the shampoo into his hair, washing it out, then put in the conditioner.
I sigh in relief as I finally finish cleaning him. "Alright, stand up and get out of the tub."
He does as I say and I blush as I forget to turn away.
"Do you, um, know how to dry yourself?"
He shakes his head. "They did not program me with this information."
I sigh, knowing it would have been too good to be true.
I reach into the bag and pull out the large towel. "Arms up."
He puts his arms up and I start to dry him. For some reason, this was starting to feel more normal. I know it sounds crazy, but it was.
I dry his arms, chest, legs, and back. Like I said before, trying to avoid his unmentionables.
I then reach up to dry his hair. I laugh as I sticks up every-which way, causing him to mummer something under his breath.
Once I finish drying, I hear a little ding come from him, signaling that I hand completed a task.
"Imma go wash these, you get dressed, ok?"
He nods and I take the towels, heading to my laundry room and throwing them into the washer. I head back to the bathroom and see him fully clothed.
He smiles at me slightly. "Thank you for bathing me, Jack."
I smile sheepishly, still blushing from what I had seen. "N-No problem."
Suddenly, my phone rings in my pocket. I take it out and my heart stops as I see the caller ID.
Emily.
My ex girlfriend.(A/n I'm sorry to all Emily's! It's just that if you look in my other books, the ex girlfriend is always named Emily so I wanted to keep that going. Plus, a jerky girl in my school is named Emily and she hates me, so this is my way of revenge. No offense to any other Emily out there!)
