I walked past the dirty streets as I started to hear music playing at the side, I realized it was. I started to dance as I hear Special Ed music as I began to sing with it.

'This is a mission, not a small time thing

Let me tell you 'bout what happened when the phone went ( *ring* )

Well, I was coolin at the crib with this girl Suzanne

And everything was goin just accordin to plan

When the phone rang - yo, I couldn't believe it

Told myself to ignore it, forget it, leave it

Just when things had started goin great

It rang again I said, "Hold up, wait"

Picked up the phone, yelled, "Who the hell is this?"

Somebody said, "This is serious business

There's a tape in the mailbox between your doors

Take the tape from the box, and put it in yours" '

I smiled as Firecracker was following me while I danced upon the streets. People watched me like I was crazy but I honestly didn't care. I looked at the man selling the cd's as I cringed my face up, he looked familiar. He almost looks like my Uncle Nelven but with a beard, he's not my real uncle though but he's my mother's best friend. I walked over to him as his face quickly lit up but I wasn't if it was because he remembered me.

Man : Yoooo..Brianna?

I smiled as I definitely knew it was him, that voice couldn't fit with anyone elses. It was low but it had a certain melody to it.

Bri : Yes, Uncle Nelven?

Nelven : Duh..girl come here and give me a hug!

I rushed into his arms as he held onto me giving me a welcoming hug. I looked down at Firecracker who looked like he was about to bark at him. Spoke to soon, he barked at him visiciously but whimpered at the same time, you can tell he was afraid but confused that he was with me.

Nelven : Move, mut!

I was a bit taken back by that but I just ignored it because he's a friend, Firecracker began to bark louder and louder as I tried to get him to stop. I shouted louder, "STOP!", he sat down and lowered his head while whimpering.

Nelven : Is he yours? confused

Bri : Yeah, he is. smiles and rushes her hand through his fur

He nodded and smiled but still confused, "I thought Pheobe doesn't like dogs..", he said. I took a deep breath, I'm not sure if I should tell him that she kicked me out and that Firecracker was a lost dog.

Bri : Yeah but she finally gave in..

Nelven : So, what you doing out here?

Bri : Umm...just meeting up with Miya...at the mall

Miya has been my friend that long enough to know Nelven, that's why we are so close.

Nelven : Oh, tell her I said hello to her, her sister and Felicia.

Bri : Umm...well..their mother left them but they are taken care of now.

Nelven : Oh okay, I'm sorry to hear that.

Bri : Yup..well.

Nelven : Wait, you're going like that?

Bri : Yea... It's a new trend..we're going to the mvoies to see that zombie movie.
